List of Lounges Currently OPEN to BA Passengers (open wiki for details)

This wiki includes details of open lounges accessible to premium (F/J or Gold/Silver) passengers travelling on BA operated services, either within the terminal BA depart from or accessible via airside transfer.

Other lounges may be accessible for passengers willing to transfer landside to other terminals or concourses, although this is generally not recommended due to time constraints as a result of needing to re-clear security. Additionally, some airports may offer pay-in lounges which are not otherwise accessible by BA premium passengers (either temporarily or permanently).

Most open lounges are operating with a limited food and beverage service, and other services may be unavailable or modified.

For opening hours, please check the oneworld lounge listing at https://www.oneworld.com/airport-lounges?location= which is now being regularly updated.

If your airport isn't listed below, this probably means there is no lounge available for BA premium passengers (either temporarily or permanently) - please check the oneworld listing for the most up-to-date information.

Washington - 23rd Sept
Newark - 29th Sept (are BA even serving EWR at the moment?)
San Fran - 30th Sept
Houston - 5th Oct
Boston - 7th Oct

In EMEA, GVA / FCO / DXB and MXP are all expected to reopen soon but no dates have been provided.

A bit disappointing to see BA with no lounge at ZRH. It's a gold-heavy and popular route so it is surprising to see them so stingy. There are many third party lounges but BA cut off their arrangement with Aspire near gates A, while the one near gates E is temporarily closed.

I suppose that BA also stopped issuing vouchers when lounges are temporarily missing? The check-in agent told me that she didn't have any of those to issue. I've sent BA the receipts but they've of course declined to reimburse me. I wouldn't bet on having a legal basis to claiming this, so I was hoping for more of a token of goodwill. Although it's a little bit scummy that you can book a flight, check that there's lounge access on both ends, and that BA just stops their arrangements with third party lounges without warning.

Anyway, I'm rambling. We'll see if I move to M&M in 2022 though

A look at the oneworld website last night shows no lounge at all anymore for BA at ZRH.

Any bets on my getting 2 guests into Galleries F tomorrow PM (or at least being allowed to cut through F security)?

Did they not previously have some offer for families during the holiday season? Maybe they are being extra kind to GCH at the moment (they certainly have been in-flight, inc an op up on an emptyish flight)??

Slightly OT but how are things in the Canaries currently? I mean how are the restrictions etc impacting life, particularly the tourist experience if you have any information?

Thanks

So does anyone know what is being offered at SFO to premium pax currently before the lounge reopens?

Thanks for any replies

Another random q. which probably fits as well here as anywhere else. Is it possible to access the F check-in / F lounge from the door nearest to it (i.e. the last door along) on the drop-off zone. Last time I was there, the door was - annoyingly - activating for people exiting, but would not open to allow people to enter.

Expanded? I thought they would only renovate? Will they actually keep the separate first and business devided structure?

We’re not there yet, just getting excited. We’re looking forward to our first flight since a long haul in February 2020. Seems ages ago.

Took me a minute to understand what you meant, but you are speaking about the last door on lvl 5 from the car drop off point into the terminal. Yes - that was working for entry into the terminal when I was flying out 2 weeks ago, so unless they only opened it for the August busy period, I believe all entrance doors are back in use from the drop off points into T5.

Also wondering about Canadian lounges YYZ/YVR would the opening of borders to double vaxxed visitors on 07/09 act as a catalyst for them to reopen?
