Well BA/IAG seem to love their new -10. Especially its cargo capabilities in this time. Apparently They have been working together with Boeing to fully understand and maximise the aircrafts cargo capabilities. It apparently joins the league of the 300ER according to IAG cargo.

B788: 28
B744: 32
B789/A359: 36
A388: 38
B78X: 40
B77W/A35K: 44
So yes the A35K of BA and their B77W take slightly more. But the A350/B77W are a fair bit bigger and more expensive to operate. So on a per container basis I think the 787-10 is hard to beat. Specifics on operating costs of each frame I can’t comment on.

To compare this is number of the standard LD3 containers each can take:
B788: 28
B744: 32
B789/A359: 36
A388: 38
B78X: 40
B77W/A35K: 44

13 for the 787-10
11 for the A359
14 for the A35K
14 for the 77W
now these are pallets in general. On IAG cargo it says the 777-300ER can take 9 PAG and 4AKE (doesn’t specify for the A35K) in their config.
so I’m not sure how many PAG pallets/AKE In their config for the -10. But it looks like when you combine fuel burn and the cargo capabilities mixed with BA’s route network. The -10 works perfectly for cargo and dare I say for BA in general
