What are the best seats in each class for solo travelers on a 4-class 777 with club suites? Is 5A club suite any good?

So am I right in saying that the Wiki is wrong.

If the first 777-300 with Club Suites is appearing in September, then the refit must be happening around July/August. The wiki says the first 777-300 won’t be complete until October though.

777 retrofit -- no longer BA 112/173??

I'm looking to book BA in J on the new suites and all the bloggers are saying the first retrofit 777 in service is on the 112/173 rotation from JFK with registration G-RAES. So, I go to toy around with some bookings today and notice the seat map on BA 112 is for the 747.. so that didn't last long.

So I look up G-RAES and it's all over the place -- now it's BA 116/174 JFK to LHR, and BA 175/177 LHR to JFK. What is going on? Is this one plane bouncing between different rotations? And if so, how can I book now for a flight in July and not get stuck on the 747?

I know last minute swaps are inevitable but I'm hoping someone has insight as to what they're doing with this plane, why it didn't stick on the 112/173 rotation, and where it might be in the future.

Wondered if anyone has thoughts on how this new arrangement works with children? To be honest I had overlooked this.

We are travelling to Nassau in Aug. Booked 4 CW seats and can just see the seat map has changed to a 1-2-1 configuration.

The children will be 3,6 at the time and originally I had reserved to sit them together in the two centre seats (old CW configuration). It was only the youngest one I wasn’t sure about.

Planes don’t stick with a single rotation and allocations are very fluid. For as long as the refits are ongoing there will always be a chance of getting the older seat; unfortunately that’s the way it goes.

Two middle pairs with adult+child in each would be the most logical.

Okay so the 77Ws are now for sure the super high Js with 76 business seats, with refurbishment and new arrivals that takes the 77W count to 16 so a literal replacement for the super high Js. So I assume they’ll replace all super high j routes? By YE 2021, Which is all of my routes to be honest. I don’t mind that
