I thought maybe they would stick with something a little more consistent here so that pax wouldn't be playing CS/CW roulette with future bookings. I'm not even looking for award space, I just don't want to pay $$$ to sit in the aisle 8-across.

When are you planning to fly? There are reports in the thread linked below of more JFK flights displaying the Club Suite, including the new 77Ws next year.

I actually just saw that, thanks. My bad -- if any moderator is here they can feel free to delete my thread or merge the replies into that. EDIT: Thanks!

I'm flying in July so hopefully there will be more planes in service by then. There are actually a few JFK-LHR departures showing the CS/777 seat map for that month so fingers crossed.

I know equipment swaps happen and there's not much you can do about it, but we'll be really unhappy if we book into CS (the express purpose of flying BA on this trip, when we could easily fly AA on the 777 and remove all doubt) and end up in the old CW. That makes it feel like a real bait-and-switch. To which someone will probably say "then just book AA", but.. we really want to try the new seats.

Flying from LHR to JFK on 17th December 2019.

I've looked on ExpertFlyer and it looks like only BA175 will have the new seats. I have spoken to BA over the phone, and they have said that BA179 will also have the new seats on this flight.

Does anyone know what information is correct?

Thanks,

A dummy booking for that day and BA179 shows the Club World seats...BA175 showing Club Suite

The review on The Points Guy suggests row 11 does, but he doesn't mention any others (only that 12 has one window).

I thought the diagram at the top of this thread showed the window vs seat positions.

I can confirm that row 10 definitely does, as I was sitting there yesterday (and that correlates with the pic on this thread). Looked like 9 and 11 also did.

I booked BA 174 JFK-LHR for later next October. It appears, based on the first post in this thread, that it's showing CS on mixed frequencies. The seatmap when I reserved my seat is definitely CW and not the new suites. Is it safe to assume that it will be CW, or have they been updating the seatmaps as refurb 777-200s enter service? Anyone know? Cheers.

Depends on the date in October. If it’s after the 24th then it will probably change because that’s when the winter 2020 schedule kicks in

Okay yeah so it will change, they update the seat maps seasonally. So closer to the time you should get an email confirming the change

Is there any consensus on the best seats for the new 777 CS? Mini-cabin versus not, etc. It'll be two of us flying together.

Does anyone know what's going on with BA177 (LHR to JFK)? Looks like it's only operating the Club Suite on certain days? Has anyone spotted a pattern?
