Agreed, Polo footwear is offensive in and of itself, but to add insult in fuchsia?

Ibiza bound?

OK, so, you were not presuming that the CSM was being lazy - simply stating that showing appreciation only in this way is. Got it.

No it looks like the person is dressed for a cooler climate.

I suspect the shoe has come off, to show the polo name to make out his shoes are expensive, when they are not..

Those were almost exactly the words used by the purser on a DL flight I was on from LHR-JFK.

I was sort of stunned for a minute but it was exactly the right answer as no doubt several other people could have asked the same question and what would he have done then?

Yes that’s correct, just like I don’t like announcements thanking the crew for their hard work I prefer meaningful feedback and before anyone says so this means all fleets.

So I was on a flight a while back and the passenger had both Gucci's (?) planted on the bulkhead.
Pre-flight, the Captain does a stroll through the premium cabin and on his back to the cockpit, he stops short at row 1.
Capt: Comfortable?
Pax: Uh huh
Capt: You find it acceptable if someone comes into your office and puts their feet up on your wall like that? This is my crew's and my place of work. Would you mind affording us the same level of courtesy you would expect from visitors to your place of work? Thanks.
Feet stayed on the floor for the entire flight.

For what it's worth CIHY, I worked in a, at times large team environment, sometimes time critical, for 27 years and I can say from my experiences that genuine feedback from a Boss which was passed on from a customer, was always appreciated as sometimes our customers may have not always had the chance to say it to us individually or personally and I think that has sometimes been the case for me when on BA aircraft if I've said something to the CSD/CSM/SCCM.

A little bit related but may I say we're really very lucky on the BA Board to not only have some extremely knowledgeable and contributive posters on here but also BA, ATC and other staff (such as Alex the engineer!) on here who advise, help and explain things on many a subject, sometimes even on things like this.

Why are there delays in fog?

SO, a general announcement from me and a hat tip to say to ALL of you who are on here contributing and I include both past and present.

Pete

No, I'm wondering why in a thread about 'rude passengers', taking a photo of a stranger and plastering it on the internet isn't being properly categorized as also rude.
Oh no, a sock!

"Taking a photo of a stranger"?
So you read that without the accompanying photo and what do you envision? A reasonable comment.
As it is, with that picture, that's significantly overstated just to make your point. It's more a picture of a shoe, but that doesn't really jibe with the rest of the comment.
imho, of course.
