Is anyone else having problems finding any available redemptions on AA flights in the US? I've search a number of common routes on a wide range of date and no matter where I look I'm seeing no flights available.

I would like to book a trip with my mother's avios, using my CC to pay for the fee, but on the payment page there is no option to change the name of the paying person.
Am I missing a trick or a passage to be able to change the name of the CC holder?
Thank you in advance

No: the page is set up to reflect the T&C that require payment to be made by the BAEC member whose Avios are being redeemed.

If I book a multi carrier award for say 14,001-20,000 bracket. Can I call up before my first flight and add on a flight and pay the extra Avios for the 20,001-25,000 bracket?

No, Avios bookings cannot have their zones changed after purchase.

Ok thanks. One more question. If I book today and my first sector is in July and my last sector is May 2019 as that is the latest that is available as of today. Can I call up in July 18 and change that to July 19?
So basically is the ticket valid for 1 year from issuance or from the first flight?

No, you shouldn't be able to backtrack, especially not in this way. Should be roughly the same one-way or return direction.

Is AA "MilesSAAver" availability the same what BA should see? I want to upgrade from PE to C on Sep 27 on AA57 and I can see the seat on aa.com, but when I called the Gold line they told me there was no space. It's a corp booking with BA codes and ticketed on BA, so I think that should be fine?
Edit: I think that might be phantom visibility on aa.com. Expertflyer says U0, which is somewhat surprising since there seems to be only 1 seat occupied in C, but oh well.
