Keepin' it Classy OneWorld Emerald!
I couldn't find an appropriate thread within the BA forum for pics like this but in the AA and DL forums we have threads.
It seems that most of the people who do this are not seasoned travelers.
Well, when she sat next to me on BA 268 in 62B LAX-LHR a night or two ago her boarding pass clearly stated EMERALD on the bottom.
At least she had her shoes on, I guess....???

Do people really put their feet up on the wall at home?
I know most people wouldn't have seats facing the wall at home like that, but still, it seems like an odd thing to do.

If feet on the bulkhead cause this much stress, I fear that your travels are likely to be rather miserable!
I find it's a common flight survival strategy and something that frequent travellers are also liable to be guilty of. Not that I speak from personal experience, of course - though those perfectly placed emergency slide protrusions on the exit doors at the back of the A380 upper deck do serve a useful dual purpose...

I have never done this, because I never pick that seat-- But for those who sit in that bulkhead I know it is super annoying when people think the bulkhead is an isle.. I would put my feet up too to prevent people from walking past me like it's a two way street...
Now that is the issue- not her fut on the bulkhead, but the people who use the bulkhead as an isle

One of my pet peeves. Usually you see the alpha male types doing this, as in somehow marking their territory.
It can't even be that comfortable, surely?

I totally disagree. Sometimes I read things on FT and I think for god sake get a grip! Or remove your head from up your own ar5e you get the picture however I totally agree with the OP this drives me mad you wouldn't do it at home so why do it on an aircraft or any public transport or in fact anywhere for that matter!
