I have a MAN/LHR/DUB booked tomorrow. Not able to check in online. Hope this isn't a sign.

Flying MIA - LHR Monday 7/31 CW. Fingers crossed. Two Saturday flights at the beginning of the month cancelled. No problems this past weekend. Checking flight times daily, but don't think you get any info until three days prior at the earliest. Curious as to the long haul damage to the brand if this continues.

Isn't YVR on the A380?
I think it's unlikely for an A380 flight to get cancelled, especially as there's only one flight to YVR a day.

Anyone know the difference in EF codes for BA cancellations?

Short notice Ind Action codes seem to be INDU whereas ones with a bit more notice are given as INDN

I doubt there is any difference in meaning.

I did notice that IATA delay codes differentiate internal and external industrial action

97 (MI): Industrial action within own airline
98 (MO): Industrial action outside own airline, excluding ATS

Thanks. First flight was on time and landed early. However MAN security was a disgusting mess. Something like 45mins to get through in fast track. And then when we went to the gate they wouldn't let me board as the security agent who took the biometrics had put my infant daughter's image as mine as well as hers. The gate security were great and managed to get it sorted but had palpitations expecting to be denied boarding.

Phew! My BSL-LHR flight is running. I usually book the later one (the last one of the day) which has been cancelled - it's the return of BA748 mentioned in KARFA's list.

My BA0296 from ORD - LHR on Friday 28th July has just been cancelled - presume it's to do with Industrial action

I am on that flight in a few weeks... what options have you been offered? What are you going to do?

They've offered me the AA 0046 from ORD to LHR, which leaves at 19:25 - that's 1hr 25 mins earlier than the original BA296 flight.
