Looks like a very major IT failure, or compromised systems. This is the BA website at 1038 BST.

ba.com has been updated with the following:
"We are experiencing network wide system issues which are impacting our operation as well as our contact centres and some aspects of ba.com, including online check-in."

Combine my avios isn't working
Just tried to make a redemption and it failed, although the avios were deducted. Not sure what to do now, they probably won't be able to do anything on the phone if everything is down

Could we perhaps focus a bit more on the issues and solutions facing passengers today and debate the whole IT issue elsewhere or at another time.
Clearly there are going to be some stressed passengers today. Let's focus on helping them rather than going round in circles arguing about the cause etc.
Mods - could we possibly have 2 threads? Help and support for those affected, and debate the issue affecting BA.

Getting mixed results ...
404 on ba.com on iPad, as shown by varkey (EDIT: now same as Mac)
Opens up in BA App, not tested beyond that.
Opens up on Mac, but then MMB says "Busy, try again later"
Best of luck to those with immediate needs.
