ba.com still flakey for me.

BA haven't updated their twitter feed in over 3 hrs since
"We apologise for the current IT systems outage. We are working to resolve the problem as quickly as possible."

Poor form when you have to find the latest flight cancellation from a bbc news alert!

IT isn't their area of expertise, you know.

Neither App nor website working for me.

Hope this turns out to be nothing too sinister given the current climate.

Yes pretty poor communication on their website. You have to click on Information Tab and then More Flight News before you see anything. Seems the Industrial Action in Italy is top news for BA.

BA - PLEASE UPDATE YOUR MAIN PAGE WITH UPDATES.

If you start with https://www.britishairways.com, it should work (some other auto-saved URLs returned an error 404 for me but removing everything after "britishairways.com" got it working). I can log in and see my flights etc. as per normal.

However, MMB returns an error, "We're sorry, but ba.com is very busy at the moment, and couldn't deal with your request. Please do try again - if it still doesn't work, it may be better to try again at another time."

I was attempting to check ba.com for a friend, who has now given up and is heading back home.

I'm avoiding ba.com and the app now, if there are even minor issues now the amount of traffic (or attempted traffic) most be massive.

Suggests that there are LAN/Proxy/Outbound traffic issues in that case.

A BA employee reported "From what my colleagues said on the phone we have lost our engineering compliance system as well which is not good! Most people are unable to log in to the network at all, from home my email, the intranet etc is unavailable. "

BE version seems accessible, but once logged in, reward search doesn't work.

I've just received a pre-flight e-mail for my LGW departure on Monday at 8pm. Is that part of the e-mail system likely to be hosted on one of the affected servers, or is this an indication that some (more) things are being restored?

Combine my avios now gets to the second step, instead of completely failing, so yes...

I shall use this as a gauge of when to try booking my redemption again

EDIT: 8 hours after booking, the eticket email arrived... and is also now showing in MMB

Glad I didn't try it twice

My guess is the browsers are accessing different servers via an IP address it now has cached.
