There are three fares which are relevant for AMS-BKK atm.

INCSALE £833.00(€908)
INCEU60 £926.00(€1,009)
INCEU28 £1,163.00(€1,267)

The figures are base fare and don't include taxes/fees/charges so don't get too excited!

The cheapest INCSALE can only be routed AMS-LON-BKK. If you are doing anything different you can't use that fare.

INCEU60 and INCEU28 are advanced purchase fares, obviously 60/28 refer to the length of that advance purchase in days. Both can be routed:

AMS-LON-BKK
AMS-LON-HKG-CX/HX/RJ-BKK
AMS-LON-KUL-BA/MH/RJ-BKK
AMS-LON-SIN-3K/CX-BKK

Both have a minimum stay of

TRAVEL FROM LAST INTERNATIONAL STOPOVER MUST COMMENCE NO EARLIER THAN THE FIRST SUN AFTER DEPARTURE OF THE FIRST INTERNATIONAL SECTOR.
Both allow 2 stopovers at EUR100, and unlimited at EUR200.

Just looking at some random dates in April 2018 for AMS.LHR-HKG-BKK-HKG-LHR-AMS with a few days stopover in HKG on the way back I get a base fare of €1,109 - so the INCEU60 €1,009 + €100 for the HKG stopover.

Just found LHR to BKK via DOH on QR for £1766 at the end of November for 10 nights.

I've not seen this advertised before. Clearly not as low as the AMS offering on BA but I know what I prefer, ex London too.

I've found no other reports of this but can't beleive I'm the only one who's seen it.

Does anyone know if any of the previously spoke about diso.... codes work on this, or if there are other reductions for paying with a certain type of card or booking on a mobile?

Not a bad way to earn 560 tier points....

If you have an Amex there may also be a £80 off offer in there

£1800 is around the average LHR-BKK via DOH fare in J with QR.

The cheapest routing to BKK, is currently through VCE, which prices up at around £1150 per person.

I've been looking at booking AMS-LHR-HKG-BKK rtn for January, but I would want to stop off in HK to visit Macau. It doesn't have to be 24hours (afternoon until morning would do) but the price jumps from about £1350 to £1500 on Flight Matrix, and Expedias multi city won't let me enter more than 5 flights... is there anyway to get the £1500 down a bit? Might as well just fly QR for that price

Thanks

If you're stopping for less than 24 hours in HKG, it shouldn't affect the price at all. Post your dates and itinerary and I'll have a look at it.

I've just noticed the price is actually in euros, so maybe that's just the stop over charge added on with some taxes.

If you stay overnight, even within 24 hours, you will be charged with departure tax 120HKD or ~$15 USD. They count calendar day.

If you are taking the ferry directly from Macau, you are eligible for a refund of the Hong Kong Departure tax.

How's the DUB - Hawaii route doing in terms of "cheapness" these days? Might be going to Hawaii next summer, and just looking at flights. The lowest seems to be ~£1,700pp in J, which is rather more than things used to be on this route. Any pointers from those who've tried themselves?

30% fall in the pound versus the Euro in the last 2 years, so £1,700 today is roughly equivalent to £1,300 back then

When you add the impact of the changes in the £/$ rate to that the overall difference in the cost a trip from a couple of years ago is very significant.

I'm trying to book the following for my partner: LON-BOG return over the festive period.

https://www.google.co.uk/flights/#se...3718;sc=b;eo=e

Neither of the google flights options work, Iberia, BA nor other OTAs. I put the details into Matrix, and it came out around £200 more (still ok for the time of year) the flights pull through to priceline using bookwithmatrix, but the "continue" button won't continue. Are there any other options any of you can think of that don't involve having to call IB?
