I wouldn't be surprised if there comes a tipping point, where MF reaches a certain proportion, and then BA consider it is commercially 'safe' enough to force through a program to legacy fleet similar to what's happened at LGW.

The majority of MF are now in the Union.

But a separate negotiating group no? so would be unable to strike against changes being imposed on other fleets.

Hopefully their negotiating group can give them some improved conditions though.

Not sure how it works, I know both Unions share an office and work closely together.

Don't worry PUCCI I know a socialist ex President with communist tendencies who's looking for a job...I'll send her over and she can give David C some advice.

She spent the last eight years making sure the rich didn't get richer by taxing them to the hilt. This resulted in the poor just getting poorer because the rich couldn't afford to employ new staff as inflation had spiralled out of control.
The national airline was okay though. The power of the unions helped them receive a US$2m a day subsidy from the tax payers which allowed the overpaid and under worked staff to keep their jobs.

Just called her....seems she and her cronies are too busy in a foreign bank counting their ill-gotten millions they said they would give to the poor. You gotta love how those socialists look after themselves.

Not that I think it makes sense going so OT into Latin American politics, but even beyond the principle, to be honest, there is about as much point comparing your Cristina friend to BA cabin crew unions as there would be to compare BA managers with Pinochet (ie none). We are talking about a very traditional and very European dispute between some employees and their employers, not about neo-Peronism which you can be reassured, is frankly neither here nor there in the particular context at hand (nor, for that matter, in the context of European socialists or social democrats, regardless of whether you dislike them too).
