A bit of an announcement

Hi all FTers,

It's time for me to announce that I've left BA. I did actually leave nearly a month ago but I had to wait until the money was in the bank before I could say anything. I've had a lot of fun times, but the last year has not been so much fun and I felt it was time to explore other avenues.

I've had fun on this forum - most of the time.

Jetsetlady has also left the building and sending her regards to you all.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Sorry to hear this, and sorry to hear stories over recent weeks/months about how BA are treating their staff at Gatwick.

All the best for whatever comes next, and merry Christmas

Best wishes for whatever the future holds Yesitsme.
I've been very grateful for yours and the other 'BA insiders' contributions to this board. It was a much better place with you and I will miss your knowledgeable insights. I hope you'll continue to share your past experiences.

We sure hope that your leaving BA will not mean your leaving our forum where I'm sure your contributions will be as appreciated as before without the little disclaimer at the bottom of the posts!

I hope you have or will find an excellent alternative which will be even more fulfilling and don't blame you for rejecting the way that you were treated. It is sad that BA will undoubtedly lose many of their best elements like you as a result of those unfair ultimatum on work conditions. Those who can leave will and their talent will be appreciated elsewhere and missed by us passengers.

Well done on making a brave move Yesitsme! I'm sure things must have been bad for you to decide to leave.

Thanks for all your input here (hopefully it will continue!). Oh, and don't spend the money all at once (there's a very good sale on at the moment you know).

Actions speak louder than words, and I'd suspect Yesitsme would prefer not to publicly burn bridges.

Yes, leaving, good wishes, and moving on to new pastures is one thing. Criticising BA, even if justified, would turn this thread in an entirely different direction.

Then let's do it, fed up with the truth not being made public.
