Is it a case that the sale fares are not loaded yet, or will they never be?
Booked LGW-LAS in December through BA holidays with Luxor hotel for 7 nights for less than the cost of the flights alone. Slumming it in economy but can't argue for £1588 total for 4 travellers.

Basically, I should have waited a few days to let the system settle down and get the Sale fares loaded. Impatient and foolhardy, and too focussed on getting the BA Holidays sale item for next June before that sold out!!!
saw something similar. CE to Iceland from LCY and 3 nights for £650, next day decided to pull the trigger and it was down to £600.

ok, I need some help with crystal ball gazing. I have to go to Florida from Croatia in October. In the past, I have been able to get flights for around $2500. Everything right now is $3300+. Obviously I would prefer oneworld since I have status with them (and would like to take advantage of that status and retain that status) but I can get SAS from Stockholm for $2070 + $500 for the intra-Europe positioning flights in business. I have been waiting for the BA "September" sale but don't know how much longer to hold out. Any advice? Or other suggestions?

Plus your positioning costs to Stockholm. Zagreb to Miami showing at just over $3,000 for me in Matrix.

I’d say the deal is ok. It’s always a bit of a game with revenue management. You got a reasonable price and it might well have gone up rather than down. Have a little more champagne to get better value out of it.

Opinions sought.....

Travelling to Vegas and want to maximise TP, to a degree......

So I can change planes in JFK and cop 560 TP for just over £1600 in the current sale. But, I could have 80 more if I travel to LAX from JFK and I understand I get a nicer seat.

Assuming 40 TP probably won’t change the world on this occasion. What would you do?

Absolutely LHR-JFK-LAX-LAS

The long hop (and stingy schedule) of JFK-LAS is awful with not a lot of comfort for that far

The full trans-con JFK-LAX gives you a decent aircraft. The short hop LAX-LAS is survivable, apparently even in Coach.

kingcole974 ... class of travel? I assume/hope Business/first?

T8191 have you seen in Premium Fare thread - ATH-CPT £1245. Save your 241 and your Avios whilst earning back

oooooh.

# I'm reviewing ... the situation ... #

That needs a lot of thought, as hotels and taxis are already booked, but thank you! ^
