Venue
Tapster
3 Brewers Green
Buckingham Gate
SW1H 0RH

Kindly booked for us by LondonAndy.

It is a Davy’s winebar 5-10 minutes walk from Victoria station, close to St James’s Park station, (relatively) conveniently situated for all major London airports. It isn't the easiest place to find. It is at the junction of Caxton Street and Brewers Green, with a corner entrance to the wine bar downstairs (almost next door to the Blewcoat School which is a National Trust gift shop open until 17.30 if you arrive early!). If coming from Victoria Street turn down the road with "The Albert" on the corner.

There won't be any food provided as part of the Do, but Tapster do have a bar snacks menu which you can order from if you need some nibbles. See here for their Grazing Menu [PDF].

It's ok, you don't need to disclose your "sleeping arrangements" for after the Do

Me too. Will know end of next week (the only problem is that by then there will be no seats left to GVA on Saturday morning!). Thanks, KARFA, for the initiative.

Well I'm definitely in now! I've just had confirmation that I can finish work early on the 19th.

Good price. I wonder if anyone staying in a hotel on Friday night can beat that.

I think coming to the Do and flying on LH next day is just allowable - but I wouldn't tell anyone on the night!

Seriously though, all are welcome. Whilst this is on the BAEC board, folks should not think this is restricted to BAEC members.

No problem. It was a joint intiative between myself and chris1979, although I would add he has done very little of the practical work - perhaps he is more of an ideas person

Any idea how difficult it is to arrange child care for the last Friday before Christmas? Somehow I've managed it, count me in!

Are you saying you aren't happy with my delegation work and the oversight I am providing ensuring it all runs smoothly?

credits to you where credits are do - apart from saying "yes, I had been thinking about that too, we should do it", I have done very little..... Been busy on planes, you know.

Stealth management! So stealthy it has been invisible to all

Ok for some jetting around the world whilst some of us have been rolling up our sleeves and organising a Do
