DEN-LHR-TLV in June

I'm flying DEN-LHR-TLV next month in F

1. I am in 2K for both legs? (747, 777). Is that a good choice?

2. I assume both flights will have the older IFE.. true?

3. Do we get PJ's for both flights?

4. Is it true that the DEN flight arrive in terminal 3? What is the best way to get to the connecting TLV flight from terminal 5?

Many thanks for any input!

1. Both good seats, well chosen.
2. Probably the older IFE on the DEN LHR route and most likely the newer one on the LHR TLV flight.
3. Yes.
4. Yes, follow the flight connection signs and take the bus to T5.

1) Yes good choice. 747 photo is here. 2K in the 777 is also a good seat. (although I am not sure if it is a 777-200 or 300 on TLV, sure someone will add to that)

2) Denver seems to be served by mid-J/lowJ 747's where WTP is between First and Club World. These have an older IFE system but still perfectly adequete.

3) Just ask the CC for PJ's, slippers etc

4) Follow the Purple signs from T5 to T3. It's really simple. More details are here

Also useful. TheBASource

Yes I had it the wrong way around but everything T3 to T5 and vice versa is in the guide and you really can't go wrong. Hope you enjoy your flight

coming back from JNB on a 747 in F in June

currently only 4K and all of row 5 to choose from.
I see on Ba source that it recommends 5K as a good seat due to extra stroage?

as it is a night flight would 5A or 5K be prone to Galley noise?

I'd take 4K, been there and a good seat but if you can get further forward at some point that's better re any noise. (not that I can recall any) The galley is right behind 5K, can't confirm if it has extra storage space, and IIRC 5F is the bassinet seat.

By extra stowage I think that they mean more surface space to the right of your seat, for newspapers, books and magazines.

There's no bad seat in F but the closer to the nose the better. However, only about a dozen sectors in F over the years and done 3A/K a few times. I like that row best of all, it's ahead of row 4 centre seats but the shelf/divider in the centre area sort of blocks off any passengers on the A side.

Have a great flight!

really looking forward to it, company policy is WT+, but managed to get J cheaper by starting from AMS. And now got lucky with UUA to F.

The outbound is also wide open in F, so keeping my fingers crossed for that also, would be nice to try F on the A380.

Excellent! Good luck for availability on the return, 747 out and 380 back in F if you can get it is a good way to travel. After that you will therefore hate your next flight in WT+ again

Have you been in F on the A380? Much better and very spacious

I was looking at 5K photos and the 'extra stowage' on the BA source is a shelf I think above and to the right of the seat but I am a mere amatuer and the BA professional here is Can i help you who might expand on that please?

I agree as I said above it's the shelf giving extra stowage.
