For those of you that were inquiring about the Las Vegas route, I assume by know if you had seats booked in First this summer ('21), they have been cancelled. My flights from Phoenix to LHR in late September were also cancelled. These F cancellations are due to aircraft changes, from 777 to the 350 which does not have F on this aircraft. This aircraft change was implemented for the summer '21 season. Unfortunately looking at dummy bookings for W21, LAS does change back to a 777 however it appears to be a 3 class 777 also with no F. Lots of time between now and late summer, W21 for more changes but that is where it stands for now. As for PHX, W21 they do change back to a 77W with F. I adjusted my dates to the outbound leg to Club so I can experience the new seat on the 350 and the return back in F on the 77W. I will keep my fingers crossed that F remains on the PHX route for W21.

I'm booked LHR-PHX return in June, was originally a A350, now changed to a 777 with F.

What are the best seats for two people in First on an A380. Got assigned first two in the the middle. Other two sets of seats are available, or change to the side of the cabin?

Whenever I travel with a family member we always choose a window seat and buddy dine/drink. If you wish to sit together then either of the 2D/F and 3D/F pairs are fine, I’d avoid 4D/F because of the proximity to the galley.

Is 4K tolerable for a night flight? All other seats are unavailable at he moment but we have 3K/4K window seats.

I’ve not been in row 4, but my family members have and none of them have complained about being disturbed in their sleep. If I had a choice of any D/F seat or 4A/K I’d take the A/K every time.

Thanks Tobias, im sure the A380 will get swapped out before we fly so probably a moot point but worth knowing.
