Foot traffic, most crew visiting First will walk up the left aisle rather than the right.

I was going to put that but thought I may fall foul of some here

Suppose there's the sunlight issue as well that might determine which side is best to sit on.

If you are interested in chosing the side of the aircraft relative to the position of the sun, try the following site.

http://sunflight.net/

IIRC, this is the new home of this tool, which has been adopted by some FTers: sunflight.io

Looks like the same site. At least the exact UI (minus the solicitation for donations).

From the github project it looks like .io is a dev version of the app as it gets automatically built on every commit pushed into github.

See the discussion from here onwards for the start of that adoption: Website showing when it will be light during a flight ...

What I don't know is whether any updates are incorporated into the version reached via sunflight.net.

Hi everyone, this is my first post so apologies if I am asking seemingly silly questions.

I'm booked on the BA105 LHR - DXB on 11/01/17 in First on a 777. The seat map shows 17 seats in the cabin so I'm confused as the only information I can find on this particular plane says it has the old first class seats and doesn't have AVOD.

Surely this cannot be right - can anyone shed any light please?

That info is outdated. It has the normal 777 lie flat seats etc (just a few more)
