What? A dormancy fee on the BA AmEx, i.e. one with (potentially) an annual fee anyway?
That's the first I've heard of it. I just checked my statement dated 24/09 and there's no such mention. I trust that this is not a general enhancement.

I have just cancelled my BAPP after years of having it. I simply don't see the point.
Reward seats are becoming harder to get and I have had to forego my last 241.
I get more miles/pound from my BMI card so there really is little point in keeping it. And it saves me £150.

I can't see why you would be able to as both are different "currencies" ie Gold is Membership Rewards and BA Card is Avios, both different schemes all be it the BAEC/Avios are a flying partner of the MR scheme.

I assumed he's referring to an actual balance on the card, not a points balance.

Quick question for a friend who's a non FT'er (the shame).
He bought an item, around £4k which took him over the bonus limit and all the avios went straight to his BAEC.
He then returned the item, leaving minus avios balance on the Amex account. Seen as all the avios have gone to BA already do Amex have the ability to take these back from BA account or will it just remain as minus on Amex?
Partly my fault as I told him the avios would move over when he pays his statement rather than go straight away

BA American Express credit card | 2014 master thread
Well AMEX finally gifted me with a credit limit that is more respectable than the paltry starting limit offered when I took out the card 6 months ago. Let's hope this trend continues.

Did Amex give you an increase after 3 and 6 months?
I think I've just cleared my third statement, and wondering if I will be offered a limit increase.... I also made extra payments as needed....
