Just bumping.... and to say that I'm awaiting details of Concorde Tour options. I've been a bit busy, so have only just started actively progressing

I've asked for options. Possibly a champagne/canapé reception followed by the tour.

Cheers

Exactly... me too... the youth of today don't know they're born!!

Family railcards today still don't offer first class, so clearly youths but not children are ok in first class.

If the youth of today can afford to travel 1st, they should pay full price for standard.

VisualAd you're on the list. Pleased you can get here for the day and a few drinks and still get your Grandma's celebrations.

Pianomit - you could bring your dad - not sure what he might make of us though Hope you can make it, but left you on the p'raps list for now.

Now I know why DYKWIA is the right host for the Concorde Tour - Champagne AND canapes - how lovely.

Hmmm, we may have a problem with the Concorde tour.

There is a corporate do already *provisionally* booked on the 15th. They are trying contact the other party to get the booking confirmed, and will get back to me. If the other booking is confimed, then we won't be able to have the Concorde tour on the 15th.

Bugger.

Anyway, I'll post again when I hear anything for sure.

I have booked my travel to MAN!

Virgin Trains | 15 Mar | 1300 EUS MAN 1507 | 1ST
Virgin Trains | 16 Mar | 1215 MAN EUS 1423 | 1ST

Total fare: GBP 89.00

Total fare less rail vouchers received due to an East Coast service arriving in KGX 30 seconds (after the cutoff for a refund) late: GBP 0.30!

I did not book a hotel yet - where are other people staying?

You can now make me confirmed for the (possible) Concorde tour and the night do. Booked into the Renaissance for £80 or so (trying to get those Marriott nights up).

If there is enough interest in the Concorde, will they charter it down to LHR and LGW to pick us up?
