Just matched Diamond. I would have matched FB instead where I was already a member but it is restricted to UK residents. What is the logic in that?

I've tried applying for this match, and was prompted for ID validation - for which the link they sent to complete this sent me back to the initial page. Their support (email only) does seems to answer at around 5am each morning UK time, but seem unwilling to help beyond resending the original link again, apparently their systems can detect if I am eligible so well it won't even allow me to complete the process.
This is a shame, as the offer is very good, so I'll await one more chance from support before giving up!

Yes, followed the link from HfP, submitted both FF numbers as well as a screenshot of the BA card but no bueno. Its buried deep in their terms that they may require ID verification to be fair, but it seems they dont have a fallback for when their website doesnt work. Oh well!

This is the link I received in my email . https://sas.statusmatch.com/?fpr=oisneq
Try this, took a minute or so to complete and then get to Payment page. And you should receive an email with a link to track application progress.

How long did it take you guys until the status was updated at SAS?
I applied on Sunday 15/03, ID Request on 18/3 and Approval 19/3 (14 hours ago) but the status did not change.
Other reported an update only 40 minutes after approval.

Appreciate the suggestions though!
Ive dropped them another email asking for an alternative route to verify, failing this Ive asked for a refund and advised Ill be letting SAS know about their vendor for the status match being a bit poor with customer service.

Approved Tuesday (5am ish)
Status updated Wednesday
I already had status that wasnt going to renew with an end date of September 2026. I cant see a status end date at the moment following the update bizarrely but expecting that to just fix itself in the coming days

I went to set up an SAS eurobonus account and was rather surprised to find that I already had one and am Gold. Turns out I'd completely forgotten that I'd done the status match they did in summer 2024. What's rather strange is that the status match at the time was only meant to be until 31 March 2025, unless I took 5 flights. I've taken zero with SAS, but for some reason my gold membership runs until July 2026. Kicking myself as it would have been useful on a recent Argentinian trip.
Anyone got thoughts on whether I could apply the latest status match to this account and extend it for 2 more years, or if I'd be better setting up a new account?

Ideally, I'd like BA to offer a status match from EB to BAC so I can get Silver back again 😁
