Can I enquire where you managed to do that - I can only do it via the app not on the website?

So see the screen shot below. Its the payment page step 7 and you need to click the down arrow (it now shows up) next to Save with Avios

Needed to book an open jaw today, but the option to do multi-city is gone and you can only do one way or return. I loaded the itinerary up in google flights, then clicked onto the link to transfer me to BA. The BA website/app (never worked out which is which on a mobile device!) thought about it for a very, very long time, but eventually it worked and I managed to book at the right fare.

** edit, solved.
Error because of the avios part payment.

Been trying to book Flights + Car and pay with Amex.
Every time get an error...
Payments goes out, many payments are pending now
error message;
- Sorry, you have 1 error on this page, please correct before continuing
- Unfortunately, due to a system error, we are unable to process your request at the moment. We apologies for this inconvenience and suggest you try again later.

Any idea or solution ?
I called Amex, there is no problem with the card.

***** Just called BA holidays , apparently the systems are down at the moment..

Partner tier points claim form isn't working. The form breaks as you get onto the airport codes and/or the dates flown - with nothing populating.

After not receiving the booking confirmation and unable to find any ticketing information on the website, I emailed the GGL team.

They confirmed I am indeed ticketed, which is a relief. However, they said "I'm afraid I was unable to send a copy of the e-ticket receipt due to an error within the booking, as not all the payment card information was updated". They successfully put a hold on my credit card so they did get all the payment information. What they have done with it, is a different matter entirely

I also asked the team where I can view the ticket number when looking at the booking on the website and will update should they confirm one way or another.

I ended up reinstalling the BA app and could see the ticket number in there.

Although now I can't view two work travel agent (CWT) booked trips even though they appear in "Your upcoming trips". When I click on them I get a "500: Internal Server Error" message. I can still manage those bookings if I am signed out and enter the booking reference into MMB.
Hopefully to close this slightly long-running saga, I can now access those CWT-booked trips without having to sign out. Not sure what happened.

I've had this with both Avis & QR, had to ring the BA Club line, they could see the credit, and did something as the Avios & nTP appeared the next day

BA can't find my ESTA

I am booked on the BA213 to BOS tomorrow and just tried to check in only to be told I can't because the system can't find an ESTA for my passport number. A bit strange as my ESTA is valid until 01/01/26 and worked ok last year.
I have download a copy of the ESTA just in case there's an issue tomorrow.

This is typical, you cannot checkin for US-bound flights even with valid ESTAs as they want to check them at the airport, especially with the latest admin. Make sure when you enter your information online in your booking that you do not have a visa, since ESTA is a visa waiver.

With BA IMHO it is always wise to apply the if in doubt, print it out rule. IME printed copies carry more weight with check in staff than flashing ones phone.

The BA App (on android) is very flakey, most of the time I can never download the boarding pass from the "boarding pass options" or even show the pass. and today is no exception the message simply says "There was a problem issuing you boarding pass. Please try again latrer" It really is a very poor UX.

I have given up reporting IT issues to BA customer services as they never seem to do anything about it.

Same here, haven't been able to get my boarding pass on the app for months! Even have an issue with emailing the boarding pass - the pass that is usually emailed to me doesn't even contain a QR code!!!

I am having the same problem and this has provided the solution. Thank you.

It is very poor from BA. It is ok collecting the boarding pass from the terminal in terminal but some places, such as Manchester, dont have such.
I try to avoid dealing with the check-in desk there as it is 3rd party managed.

I have booked a flight, but never received the confirmation email.

Thank God I inserted my AY FFP number (my exile after Tiermagaddon). In the AY mobile app the booking showed up immediately, and with the booking reference I could use the AY website and obtain a ticket receipt.

Isn't it pathetic to have to use Finnair's digital channels to get information on a British Airways flight that I booked with British Airways? Don't they feel ashamed at BA?
