Redemption Help: DC redemption : need help checking availability for....

Anyone know which airlines release J class seats more than 2 at a time. In my experience, it includes:
BD (short-haul at least)
LH (selected dates and routes only long-haul, lots short-haul)
TK (long-haul)
TG is frustrating as they only release 2 at a time but am looking for a Thailand trip (EDI-BKK). I need 3 seats but can only get 2 so am having to route via IST with TK although able to use LH on the way out.
Any other experiences to share?

Also, getting to BKK, have you tried Swiss.....I remember a year or so ago when checking that, Swiss had 6 seats open from Zurich!

I need some help as I have never booked an awward flight with BMI.
I would like to go from HAM or LHR to YVR.
Earliest date I could go is 01. Mai 2012 return one year thereafter, so return date could be within 6 weeks from departure which I would change very 3 month or so.
I have enough miles to fly biz with the miles+cash option
Is this possible? Any thoughts?

Is it possible to check availability to NCE on 27/08 - 03/08 on BD from LHR? Online tool doesn't work?
Edit: EF not showing any availability either -- best to phone?
Just phoned, no availability & also for several other dates I checked, although pricing out BD flights now it seems like it would be better to save my miles.

Don't book a return - changes cannot be made after the outbound travel so best to book the one-way and can worry about the way back nearer the time.

Also, when looking via the Ana tool, do I have to look for bmi flights, there are none within those months mentioned before!, or is it sufficient to look for Air Canada flights with bmi codshare?

In that case book as 2 one way tickets and pay the fee to change the second "return" one. You can use any star alliance carrier, check staralliance.com for who operates the routes. Any flights shown up on ANA should be bookable, provided the call centre can also see that availability.

The 13:05 and 15:15 Air China flights from ICN are showing as available in economy and business class.
