Yep TG is Thai Airways. ANA shows them as being available. Its a much better and shorter flight.

One from me as I've fought ANA and lost. :(

Requirements:
LHR-ORD (BHX-ORD ideally) Departing before 20th October (+/- 3 days).
ORD-LHR/BHX, departing after 24th October (again, +/- 3 days)

Any ideas or thoughts welcome. I can find the odd Y class seat, but was hoping for C class (would happily accept domestic Y)

Out from LHR on LX on 18th, back on AC via YYZ on 26th.

You may also get back via YUL on 22nd or 23rd but ANA can't find a connection from Chicago.

No direct flights but loads of availability via LIS. Just enter the airport codes (MUC/FAO) on ANA - you don't need to use the drop-down boxes.

Hi, i am looking for EDI/GLA to SFB (Sanford) first two weeks in july next year returning 3 weeks later.

I did call DC but they weren't much help. Bit of a language barrier

You'll struggle with that as no Star Alliance airlines fly to Sanford. It's only EU charter airlines and some more obscure US airlines. You should be able to find seats to Orlando International airport (MCO) though. Continental fly EDI-EWR-MCO, Lufthansa would offer EDI-FRA-MCO or Virgin fly direct GLA-MCO. Whether you'll find seats available on these is another question. If you choose Virgin, you can't book the journey as two one-ways and you can't use miles+cash.

Yes SFB is a non starter. From my very recent experience, and assuming you wish to travel in C or F with *A, your only real hope at that time of year will be LH. You would have to overnight in FRA or get to FRA via BRU or LHR on the day of your TATL flight, to catch LH464 to MCO.

Returning you can go MCO--FRA-EDI with a lengthy layover at FRA (the teatime flight), or via BRU or LHR. I've only just redeemed 4 C seats EDI-BRU-FRA-MCO for next June. In a few weeks time I'll be redeeming 4 seats on the inward sector. I'm considering MCO (or TPA)-EWR-FRA-EDI in order to catch the lunchtime flight from FRA-EDI.

VS is another possibility direct from GLA.

Whatever you do, do not use your miles for a Y redemption on *A metal - you will be giving away 45,000 miles for a base fare of around £100 :eek:

Nothing at all in business class on NZ001 on that date - either on ANA or on ExpertFlyer. Economy only.

Availability in J for 3 or 4 pax
 

Anyone know which airlines release J class seats more than 2 at a time. In my experience, it includes:

BD (short-haul at least)
LH (selected dates and routes only long-haul, lots short-haul)
TK (long-haul)

TG is frustrating as they only release 2 at a time but am looking for a Thailand trip (EDI-BKK). I need 3 seats but can only get 2 so am having to route via IST with TK although able to use LH on the way out.

Any other experiences to share?
