Question for the experts -

TG and NZ only showing two seats, what are the chances of both of them releasing an extra seat after I book the first 2?

The routing is BKK-AKL-NAN

In my experience TG might release one more but I am cautious about NZ.

GoldCircle Jul 6, 2011 6:22 am

My experience of NZ is that they won't release another. TG might.

Oxon Flyer Jul 6, 2011 7:20 am

My experience of NZ is that they did not release another. TG did.

That's what I thought. Although I was surprised to see a 3rd seat released on the LHR-LAX 77W flight that I had 2 seats booked on last month.

But at the same time last year I had booked 2 in J and the 3rd seat never opened up on the AKL-PPT flight even though the load was just us two in Biz.

Last chance saloon if someone could check KVS for me. Im in Y for the CO22 EWR-DUB Friday 8th July. 3 seats left in C, could someone see if they have opened up last min?

Expertflyer says:
J3 C3 D3 Z0 Y9 B9 M9 E0 U9 H9 Q9 V9 W9 S9 T9 L9 K9 G0 N9

Seatmap in BusinessFirst has 3 window seats on the right hand side available.

CO Y is better than some carriers Y Class who operate into DUB... although more space is always welcome

Good luck....

I saw the 3 seats in C myself, they were there when I left DUB on tuesday. I was hoping that they were opened up for redemption. I was in C on the DUB-EWR route and it was superb!

ANA v's Expert Flyer

Morning

Forgive me for being lazy but i've ran through about 30 pages of this 136 page thread and haven't found an answer to my question.

I'm looking for a rewards seat on a particular routing. I've checked Expert flyer which is telling me there are seats available for the flights i want to take but when i search through ANA it tells me there are no seats in the class i want (or no seats at all).

Which one is correct?

thanks

Scott

Whats probably happening is that EF is showing you the reward seats that UA has open to its members. This can often be different to what they release to *A partners.

What date are you looking at so I can check.

Yep nothing on them dates. In my experience with UA they rarely release seats so far out. In the last 2-4 weeks is when their premium seats open up.

Any particular reason you wanna go via LAX? The same dates has availability via BKK on TG. Much better flight IMHO.

Hi

Yeah i agree, much better flight... I was only using Expert flyer so couldn't see anything for TG (I assume that means Thai airways).

What site were you using that you can see those flights?

thanks

Scott
