Maybe ANA is in fact showing the correct availability?

I would think so. And I'm sure that TG will be a very acceptable alternative to/from BKK!

First DC redemption - LHR to NY

I realise this is probably a long shot so close to departure but it's worth a try.

I'm looking for J or F availability from London to NY (I don't think the airports particularly matter and happy to go indirectly) DEP 26 Feb RTN 4 March with a bit of flexibility either side.

On ANA all I can find are CO or UA flights. This will be my first DC redemption so I want to go for the experience/value. If US carriers are the only option, the product won't be great so I'll just go for a revenue economy ticket.

Would anyone be kind enough to have a look at availabilty outside the ANA tool or even suggest what other routings I might consider for a decent J/F product?

Thanks very much.

There's a seat in C on LX14 on the 25th from ZRH-JFK which will be "new C" on the A330-300. There's almost always availability on the short-haul connecting leg (and, having checked, there's loads). Coming back only Y seats on LX, though. You can fly back on 4th March with LH via FRA in C. Whether you regard that as a decent J product is up to you, though :-)

There's also a C seat coming back on the LX PrivatJet service from Newark on Monday 7th, if that helps.

It seems to be total ZERO availability in any premium class direct flight from US West Coast to Europe in between 8 and 18 of June ? At least not 2 seats together, which I am looking.
Tried LAX SFO SEA YVR YYC DEN LAS PDX - nothing working. Anyone got an idea?

I presume you've checked MUC flights too? (I suspect you have though).

Sadly TATL flights are becoming rare from the West Coast and the lack of connections from the East unless you want to pay F miles makes it almost impossible to get something sometimes. You've got my sympathies on this one.

Can anyone find any availability from Edi - BKK on the 22 or 23 April in Business? I can only find seats on 21st using ANA.

Thanks

Two F and five Y awards showing on LX 180 ZRH-BKK on 23 April. I'm also seeing C and Y availability on TK 64 IST-BKK, and from MAN and LHR to IST.

Not sure what options you have from EDI, mind. Sorry.

KVS says YES, Puna says -NO!!!

Gentlemen, iknew the situation that for instance SQ does not give DC members new business class, LH may catch some few places for only MMore participants etc...

But what to do with this situation?

[KVS Availability Tool 6.0.7.R1/Diamond - SNT: Awards/StarAlliance/JP-ANA-SP1]

FRA Frankfurt Metro / Frankfurt Intl DE = FRA HHN [EDDF]
JFK New York John F Kennedy Intl NY US [KJFK]
FRI 11 Mar 2011 | 2 Seats

Carrier Flight From Depart To Arrive A/C St Availability
--------- ------ ---- -------- ---- -------- --- -- -------------
SQ 26 FRA 08:20 JFK 10:45 744 0 FS- CS- YS-
LH 400 FRA 11:05 JFK 13:35 388 0 FS- CS+ YS+
CO 51 FRA 11:05 EWR 14:00 777 0 FS/ CS- YS-
LH 402 FRA 12:50 EWR 15:40 343 0 FS+ CS+ YS+
LH 404 FRA 17:00 JFK 19:40 744 0 FS- CS+ YS+
LH 484 FRA 17:30 EWR 20:20 343 0 FS+ CS+ YS+

I really need LH400. ICC says -no opportunity -only economy availible. Also ICC says there is no any business class that day from FRA to NYC.

All tips are deeply appreciated!!!! WHAT TO DO????

thanks, will have a look at the TK flights, never flown with them before!

Sounds like one of two scenarios:

1) Poor agent. Call back and try again. If you get the same answer then go to:
2) There is an issue booking the particular LH flights via DC

If you haven't spoken to another agent and tried again yet, then that would be my advice.

Pssst: only a few people here fit into that category. Most of us are excluded for reasons of conduct, gender or both.

The ICC quoted me £305 in tax for EDI-FRA-NRT. Surely thsi isnt correct?

What figure did you find when you checked for yourself?
