Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but there's nothing, or next to nothing. *A is not great for Caribbean destinations.

CheeseToastie's wonderful Star Alliance route finder doesn't show anything at all out of MCO except Jamaica via CLT -- and when I've searched in the past it wasn't any better out of any other Florida airport, including MIA.

Seems to be a fair choice from Charlotte but not sure if backtracking comes into this

That shouldn't be a problem as far as booking is concerned, given that there simply aren't any more direct routes. But flying US would certainly reduce the fun factor when it comes to actually making the trip.

Not to mention that a premium redemption would also cost F miles. Which is a complete waste IMHO.

Unfortunately it's not just the caribbeans that do not get many services - the whole of FL seems pretty light.

I'm trying to find award ticket availability for LAX-CDG any time starting April 2011. Is there a way to do this other than manually testing each date in ANA search tool? I've gone through probably 20 threads today and can't figure it out. Thank you all for your help!

Welcome to Flyertalk!

The short answer is no, there is no way to test multiple dates in one go. When you put a date in, you will see a left and right arrow above each set of results, that allows you to advance the date forwards or backwards, but other than that, there is no easy way to check across a range of dates.

Finding a result after a long search on the ANA tool and then booking it allows one to feel a sense of accomplishment before looking forward to your next trip.

I suggest running a search on Aeroplan.com and just keep clicking next/previous day in the results.

There should be no problems with LAX-CDG in April, but ANA may have a hard time, cannot handle more than 1 connection.

An easy check across the range of dates is the calendar on Continental.com, but beware, only limited partners are shown - ie. no LH or LX

How do I find availability inside China e.g. PEK > HGH (ANA isn't showing anything for any date I give it)? I can't book HGH > HKG since the CA flight is a code share with a Oneworld airline?

Yes, KVS is subscription only, but very worth it in my opinion. I prefer the interface onto ANA.
