Some official communication or email from Donnington Hall would really be appropriate so we know where we stand (and not what's been on the website)...
Until that happens, we're all grasping at straws... and unless the BMI IT Cats have let something loose by accident...

Even 1:2 is not necessarily worthwhile, unless you only ever book plain-vanilla return trips for 100% miles, without stopovers, and don't have a BMI Mastercard or collect a lot of miles via Hilton / Europcar.
In my case, I have been generating up to 1 million miles a year paying tax through my BMI Mastercard. That will all go away if I transfer to M&M, since the M&M Visa is only 1 mile per £1 and therefore not worthy of the 1.25% credit card fee imposed by the tax people. I'm going to need a fat carrot to give that up.

Not here for me... and they've already sent out the April newsletter? (I didn't get it but it appears on the website assumed it hit junkmail)
Glad you guys spotted and registered this, if this is an optional move I shall not be taking advantage, if its not optional then the dates there are not appropriate.
Wonder whether 55k+ would get you HON (I suspect not)
Wish I had more time to take some more trips...

If this is true Im gutted. Had such a good run with bmi over the last 3 years. Me and MrsSgtRyan were planning a dream trip to Asia in Aug....guess we better start booking up with what we got, clear the account out and say good bye ....as they say...all good things come to an end.

One question that springs to mind is what would happen with re-qualification for those already well into their member year planning on getting gold back with 38k of flying? Will they be allowed to re-qualify based on the number of miles required under DC? I have no interest in qualifying for M&M *G equivalent but have made booking decisions that I would not otherwise have made based on my aim of getting 38k DC status miles.
Anyway I will wait for an announcement from bmi before I get too excited/concerned. This could all be a storm in a tea cup.

Isn't this text about DC account suspended talking only about situation when you have decided to migrate to M&M ? (other thing is whether one have really decided to go there)?, maybe not yet showing DC complete death.
On the other hand, I would be funny in case DC collapse if other airlines (different alliances) picked it up and offered status match, could be some surprise for somebody within LH.

I guess they realized what happened.
As joanna might be reading in this post - can we expect an "official" bmi statement what is happening?
Otherwise we have to continue our speculations here and also in the german forum "VFT".
