Does anyone know of a good AWD for one-way rentals? The AWDs I normally use offer good savings, but charge between $0.23 and $0.27 per mile. Not a good option for me, since I'm driving ~1,500 miles over the course of a week.

Hi Parkerthon - Have you ever use this for personal use? |

The code works all over and gives you about 50% off. D008400 with unlimited miles.
You have to show an amazon ID or an email from amazon's domain stating you are an employee. They just need a quick glance at your proof. If you do know how to show proof then dont use this code as they will deny you if you dont have simple proof that you can show on your phone. Amazon is the only company still using rentals heavily as their business was boombing. Most companies stopped all car rentals so their codes lost all their good usage based discounts. |

I second this question - any details? Is it a cardholder code or employee?

For some time I was using an AWD from my former employer, last time I used it was last year. But I just checked again wanted to book at YYZ, it seems the AWD is either not working or the discount has been changed. I used to get around 20-30% now its only around 10%, I tried AMEX, TD Visa Aeroplan and Air Canada, they are all around 10% only. Did Avis overhaul all the AWD codes, due to the whole COVID thing?

Book the best deal you can find and then track it with AutoSlash to see if a better deal is available. You might be surprised how much we can help. Safe travels! |
Any discount coupon codes (not AWD) that work in the UK?

Avis discount codes are AWDs. Are you referring to coupon codes? If so, there aren’t any that we’re aware of that work in the UK at the moment.
On a semi-related note, anyone know to what organization AWD A170100 belongs? Awesome rate in London - around 2/3 off their AAA discount - but I have no idea where I got it and want to make sure I don't end up bait-and-switching myself upon arrival. EDIT: Avis responded quickly via Twitter. It's Ford's AWD (my employer). Perfect. |
I have Avis Preferred but would normally rent from Hertz as I am Prseidents Circle. For an upcoming rental at LHR however both Avis and Hertz are asking ridiculous amounts. I'm talking about GBP 700 (USD 800+) for a compact car for 4 days. Autoslash has come up with USD 250 using Hertz via PriceLine but when booking I notice it says "Driving License: USA". When I change this to one of my licenses (UK and Germany) the price doubles. Am I safe in booking as a US resident or should I find another deal? I have no problem with the US rate not including insurance as my Amex covers that.

Does Avis at LGA/JFK check ID?

If this is the wrong forum, can someone/admin move it to the right forum 🙏
Hi, I was hoping that you could help to se if there are anyway to get the price down a litte. We're from Sweden We fly in to LAX from LHR (BA281) august 4th, was planning on picking up the car the next day. We're in california for almost 9 weeks and we need the car for the whole trip. So we would like to pick up august 5th and return october 6th. We're flying in & out of LAX. No problem to use an off-site, don't have to be LAX but if the prices are similar så of course is LAX easier. We prefer AVIS since we get points there and we are prefered members. We're looking for intermediate or standard suv // Anna |

Anyone know the AWD A139300?
I was trying different awd and codes (avis.com), had typed in an awd, it came up "that code is invalid, click here and get the same 15% off". I did and clicked search, the prices dropped with $20/day. I looked and in the awd box was A139300. I don't know where it came from and where it's from and if I can use it... 🤔 |

Wow, Thank You for posting this. I have been using the old HP Code for many years and they now require a corporate email address to use. This code you found, which appears to be a in house AVIS code for people who may be getting ready to depart the site, as a "Let's Make a Deal" and book now code? Use it while you can A139300

Those emails you mentioned went out to everyone using a corporate AWD. I received it too several times after doing my last 2 HP Code bookings. Worst case they deny you and you can use a Costco or AAA or another back up code you have ready to go or pay the going rate, It's going to depend on the individuals risk tolerance level. |
A113400 State of FL employee rate
would this code work without a State of FL employee card? Renting at the airport in LAS |
Best Codes
Sorry, most of the useful information in this post was deleted by moderators.
I went through most of the codes in this thread. Here are the prices (before taxes and fees) I found for my rental. No Code $334 Most Codes $305 The Best Codes $180 [Censored by Moderator] $155 [Censored by Moderator] $148 [Censored by Moderator] $142 [Censored by Moderator] $141 [Censored by Moderator] $127 [Censored by Moderator] The best codes were all corporate codes. You may be asked for proof that you are eligible to use the code and be denied without it. I would recommend having a backup reservation using Autoslash for a low price. You could also use one of the following Avis public use codes as your backup. [Moderated] or maybe you qualify for one of these. A359807 AARP B723700 Any Union Member T765700 Military or Veteran My experience is just an example. Your experience may be much different. [Moderator's note: AWD were deleted that did not list the company/association, as required in this thread] |

How can you check to see which companies the Corporate codes are associated with?
