Valid BCD Codes

Does anybody have some latest BCD or company codes to receive a discount of 10 % or higher?

Will there be any IDs, vouchers or a special country of origin required in conjunction with the code?

Thanks for sharing. I'm planning rentals in Chile around February/March.

Roginator Feb 11, 2004 8:04 am

It appears that using discount codes may not result in discounts at all with Budget. Check out the MasterCard/Budget and Costco/Budget deals (can be found in Costco travel brochures).

Any update on discount codes for Budget?

Check this link out. It has some coupons you can use.

FWIW: I just glanced at a Ralphs supermarket shopping bag, and the expiration date is now 31 Dec. 2004. Says "Save up to 25%." Seems like one must try a bunch of codes to get the best rate.

You summed it all up.. it is just part of playing the Budget game. With a little work you can save $ :)

This is another rental car site where I can't figure out where to put these codes that are suggested. Where in the world are you supposed to put it?

First go into their home page:

https://rent.drivebudget.com/Home.jsp

Look at the upper left area and click on "Rates and Reservations." It's to the right of the big Budget sign.

Then you should see a page with Rate Preference, Discount Code (BCD) near the bottom. Put a dot where it says "BCD rates." Enter your code there.

Such a pain in the butt site!

Now that's an understatement! I haven't used Budget in a couple of years, but it is by far the cheapest of them all for my trip home to Calgary at Christmas and the Ralph's BCD worked to save me CDN45 over 4 days.

But, with that brutal site, there is no way to enter a BCD to see Ralph's rates if you log in first with your Fastbreak BCN#. You have to reserve/confirm without logging in, then call and get your BCN# attached to the rez.

And you have to call to change your profile too! What decade of the 80's are they operating in, anyway??!!

I "discovered" this secondary reservation page by mistake (how nice of them to hide the BCD code box when on the home page!), but I still can't find a box to enter my coupon code. When I called Budget, they said they could do it on the phone but then quoted me a higher base rate. Anyone know how to enter both a BCD code and a CPN code at the same time on the web site?

I have not been able to find a way to enter a coupon code after many attempts. El mundo bizarro!

Any new codes out there?

The Ralph's code still works.

You can't do it. You can only enter a BCD code. Just make the rez. and take the coupon with you when you rent the car. They'll accept it if it's applicable.

I've found the best discounts by using the Entertainment Book coupons.

Phil

philemer Mar 5, 2005 9:10 pm

20% off entertainment book coupon gave me a rate of $102/week + taxes/fees for a mid size in Maui and $137 + taxes/fees for a full size in Kona. Lowest rates I've seen, except maybe at priceline (can you say 'no cancelation or changes'?).

NJUPINTHEAIR Mar 15, 2005 7:03 am

This May Be Of Help....

I am going to rent a standard car for a week from TUS to PHX and input the Entertainment 20% off coupon BCD code and although it gave me a discount, it was closer to 15%.

I then found the following webpage, and although it says that one gets a 15% discount on a weekly rental, but I think mine was higher.

In my case it carries 1,500 UA miles, as well, although the inital United webpage seems to indicate only 500 UA FF miles. The clincher was that at least for my car class, there was no drop charge!!

Base cost for my 7 day rental is only $140 with the United special offer.

Hope this helps.. :)

I agree. The 20% off a weekly rental coupon has given me the best rates on my last two weekly rentals. It appears you have to hand over the coupon at check in/check out to get it to price correctly.

sobore Mar 21, 2005 7:59 am

Price Change

On the budget website I was quoted $280.00 for a weekly rental.
I waited a minute and went through the process again to see if the price would change, it didn't until the third time I tried. Now the price showed $250.00. It may be worth a second or third pass to see if the price changes when booking. F.Y.I.

Get the best Entertainment rate by double-dipping: Use the 20% discount and the $20 coupon.

I use this one: X765400, with great success at 25% off.

I'll need a rental car in Los Angeles for one week. Do you think can you kindly email me the entertainment's Budget weekly rental discount code ? It would be very very appreciated.

BigGuy and all others concerned,

I completed my rental and instead of the stated 15% that I was supposed to receive over the regular rates, it came to 27.7% !!! That is why it was better than the 20% coupon from the Entertainment Book.

Now, hopefully, I will receive the 1,500 United miles for the 5 days or longer rental!

I will keep you all posted.

Of course, YMMV when using this code.

Good luck!

BCD code W116168 saved me a ton for Hawaii Res

I have a 7 day intermediste rental for $159.75 base rate with BCD Rate Code W116168

www.wailuabay.com booked the res for me, and recd an budget.com email and have been able to update the res successfully. The original budget.com rate was $229.xx, so this discount is hefty. Cheaper than what Priceline would offer, and Hotwire.!

wearenotlow Sep 9, 2005 7:38 pm

Do you know exactly where W116168 comes from?

Do you have to show any sort of ID or coupon to claim this rate?

Thanks.

spmur Nov 14, 2005 3:32 pm

I continue to have very good success using the Costco code:

I tried that code for TUS and the rental price went UP by $50  . I'm not sure what that code is but you can have it.

Costco code

Do you actually have to be a member of Costco to use this code? Thanks

Not sure if you have to show you Costco card at time or rental or not, but the reservation does not require any Costco login or membership #

I too have found the best deal so far for our trip to Sping Training/Grand Canyon via Costco & Budget.

thqu60 Jan 8, 2006 9:55 am

Has anyone used "A Free Day On A Weekend Rental" coupon in addition to the Costco discount? Does Budget always honor both or are there any restrictions to the Free Day coupon if I use them for a 3-day weekend rental in March at FLL?

sobore Jan 13, 2006 7:10 am

Get a mid-size car for $154/wk at Budget.
Valid for pickup through 2/28/05 at participating US airport locations.
Must be booked by 2/24/05. Weekly rates require a five-consecutive-day minimum rental with a 14-day maximum rental.
Blackout dates apply. Use BCD code U030183.

chazas Jan 19, 2006 10:19 am

A couple of Wal Mart codes I found on the internet that worked equally well to discount a Hawaii rental by about 20%: BCD code W810000 and BCD code W810011.

Try checking the rates as a non-US resident on the budget reservation system; non-US residents seem to get a huge discount.

Example: 5 day car rental in SBA from April 12-April18/06 is 210USD for US residents; 179USD with the Costco discount...and 132USD for Canadian residents. Go figure!

Wal-Mart Codes

Where on the Internet did you find those Wal Mart Codes. Boy do they make a difference in the reservation.

Thanks!

Googled "Budget" and "discount" - came up on a couple of those coupon websites.

In my case, the Costco code did even better.
