rent 2/18-2/25???

Hmmph. The lowest I can see for Tampa Airport Feb 18-25 is $379/week. Is it just because it is school vacation week? Any suggestions?

Thx

I just hope they don't ask where I got the code from...I am not sure if flyertalk.com would count! :p

big miles to west coast

Hello, if you are a AA.com fan and Budget person, check out the Advantage specials and get triple miles from budget all year (go to budget.com/american) then until Feb. 15 earn upto 36000 miles on trips to west coast, See advantage air specials on AA.com. Since Nov. 2005, I have earned over 25000 miles on this deal and should get another 25,000 more by years end.

I follwed the link as you suggested (www.budget.com/american) and not only was my discount better than the Walmart or Costco code, I will get an upgrade as well as the triple miles. The coupon says that this is good until 12/31/2006. The link will fill in the BCD and Coupon for you.

BCD for Manchester England

I have been looking for a real good deal in Manchester England. Does anyone know of a good discount code for this location?

DWilliamson5002 Feb 24, 2006 5:36 pm

I entered the W116168 code in for MCO and didnt get a discount on all rates just the Cadillac CTS for 190.00 a week.

toomanybooks Mar 1, 2006 7:09 pm

Best luck for me of late is to pull up rates at Southwest's website, which I think gives a discount already, then modify by clicking the link at bottom to add discount codes. Pretty much have found Costco's to be as good as anything, often reducing an additional 25%.

Last weekend got $13 a day plus taxes/fees for CLE airport on a midsize.

When traveling with a spouse, Budget doesn't charge extra ($7 a day or so) for the second driver, which is also a major reason we look to Budget first.

BCD code X724300 is for customers of Shaw's Supermarkets in New England that have a Shaw's Rewards Card. You can apply for a card online at www.shaws.com.

javabean Mar 7, 2006 2:48 am

This is a Southwest Airlines code: U072708. It's from a Southwest promo. I am getting up to 30% off on compact to premium cars (weekly or weekend) rentals.

the discount code for 10% off

hey there,

this is the code that me and my bf used to book our car in Poland, but it works for the USA, too. (actually we used american budget website, polish one does not allow you to enter coupon or discount code).

It is W810011 I found it on the Internet and the source was given as Wal Mart - discount for Wolly World (I know you - Americans - call it that way but am not sure of spelling, so in case I'm wrong, I'm sorry) customers. The infomration said it ought to give up to 25% off but when I checked it, it only gave 10%.

Anyways, it works and it's better than nothing, so hope you'll find it useful.

From Poland with love.

What comes after "E" level-Full-Size 4 door car?

This is quoted from post #45
"I follwed the link as you suggested (www.budget.com/american) and not only was my discount better than the Walmart or Costco code, I will get an upgrade as well as the triple miles. The coupon says that this is good until 12/31/2006. The link will fill in the BCD and Coupon for you."

I want to use that coupon (BCD U072400) which allows you triple bonus miles on American and gives you one free upgrade up to "E" level. I looked on budget web page and it looks to me like it's a intermediate SUV (Class F)? Is this correct? Is that what I would get if I went for my free upgrade from my "E" level car? It doesn't seem right for some reason.

I'd really like a "mustang" or something "fun" SUV might be fun also (I've never drove one before). So I don't know whether to book for class C-intermediate and hope I get the upgrade to the mustang-what else do they have in that class besides mustangs? Or go all the way to class "E" and hope that they give me Class "F" which is the SUV.
I was thinking my chances of getting a mustang when arriving at 12-noon at OAK wouldn't be very good. It'd be pointless of me to get a upgrade at all from an economy car if I didn't get something "fun". If I can't get either of those I might as well save myself the money. Any way I can know in advance? Hehe. :O)
Suggestions?

Thanks,

Jaimie

Usaa

I reserved my car through the USAA website (for USAA members only) and got a better discount than any other discount code that I've seen yet. Plus I was upgraded to a Premium car (small print says if one is available). Basically I got a Premium car for less than the cost of an Economy car (using the AA code and the Costco code).

This may not work for everyone, but it's a great deal for USAA members.

Nick

Thanks, I just used the USAA site and saved 10%.

One question: I booked a one day one way rental from airport to airport and there is no one way charge... is this usual? I thought there usually was a drop charge?

Is that www.usaa.org or www.usaa.com?

I am assuming the latter, but they are different.

Thanks.

Any Coupon Codes, Corporate codes that you can give me would be Great. You can post here or send me email at [email protected]

Code W116168 works great!! Let's hope they don't ask for some special
ID when I check in. It saved me over $100 on a minivan in KOA for
August.
Thanks.

Its USAA.com, but I think you have to be a member and logged in to use this discount.

I am finding HNL in July for four days to have the best/same price ($168) as other codes through this link for a full size car. So the potential for an upgrade and triple points makes this offer a good choice for me.

The offer states "on your next qualifying rental of three to five days on an intermediate or larger car." So if your rental is longer than the five days you don't have the option for an upgrade and lose opportunity for AA points? I am plugging this code in for nine days for KOA and getting a good price. It is coming in at $331 versus $316 for W116168, so if I could get potential upgrade and AA points, that would be nice.

Further review from aa.com shows that the triple mile offer and the standard offer of 50 points have the same BCD number U027400, with the coupon number of UUAZ009 being entered automiatically for the triple mile offer.

I am not up on rental stuff, so if anyone could give me a head's up on whether this offer includes rentals past three to five days? My interpretation is no and I should be happy with the price and leave it at that. However, the lure of a potential uprgrade and AA points makes me want to throw it out for another opinion. Thanks in advance for your comments and suggestions.

Budget BCD codes won't work

I have read post where Costco & Walmart Budget BCD codes and other Budget BCD codes worked for others but I can't seem to get any discounted quote using any BCD codes whether making reservation on airport or off airport locations. Can anyone advise me how to get these discounts before my rental next weekend?

Bcd V222904

Called the Entertainment number of 1-888-724-6212 and asked for the lowest rate in Maui(OGG) for 7/5-7/11. They gave me a rate of 157.18 including all taxes and fees. Noticed the BCD # of V222904 on the receipt. I think its a good rate, even for an Economy.

ctuttle Jul 5, 2006 7:56 pm

Used this one the other day:

BCD # X739200

It's from Rentalcarmomma.com. I was able to get a Cadillac CTS for less than what I could find an intermediate anywhere else. It was a one day rental, and it was $36.80 before taxes. I think the midsize was a couple of dollars less, but the CTS with XM Radio was VERY nice.

V222904 only for HI residents

Went to pick up car on Maui. I was asked for a HI license or mail to prove an HI address. this disount is only available to island residents. When I called the Entertainment # they told me that was the lowest rate available to me. I used my MA address and phone number and a credit card with my MA address to pay for the rental. After a 9 hour ride from Chicago I just would not pay a full price rental. The manager would not give me the discount. Finally someone found a BCD # to get a price of $171. with taxes and fees. I accepted it, but I was really tired, grumpy and sure I would never use Budget again.

BCD X739200

Thank you for this code, it saved me a couple of bucks over the Costco code of W852837.

Hi

Hi All, I'm new around here and found this place to extremely helpful. I just wanted to share a code I found from www.islandair.com in Hawaii. It is U030087 and it gives great rates for Hawaii, not sure if it wrks anywhere else. Enjoy.

Thanks for posting that follow up! I already had a car reserved and changed my code # to your code) for a MUCH better rate! Then I read your follow up. :td: lol I think perhaps I'll let it ride and see how I can do with them if they say no. ;)

Discount and Upgrade?

The codes I've seen here do not seem to provide for upgrades, or are for weekly rental upgrades. I have a compact at AZO this weekend, but don't really want to be in a compact. Any discounts with double upgrades or similar for a 2 day weekend rental? The $$ difference is not the point, just trying to get something for nothing--the FT way.

miAAflyer Jul 28, 2006 1:40 pm

Here is another coupon code (MUAZ026) to use with the AA BCD (U072400). It gives you $25 off a weekly rental and 500 bonus AA miles.

Hi ctuttle--
Did you have any problem using this code? Did they question it at all? Reason I'm asking is I found some great rates with it too, and so went ahead and printed out that webpage from Rentalcarmomma. Then, I noticed that the code that's on the "member savings card" on the right is actually X793200, unlike the one in red on the left! Seems like maybe a typo? Anyway the rates I found were SO much less than almost every other code, I had begun to wonder if it was legit or if I'd get to the counter and be told I couldn't have it! So if you used it without problem, I'm much encouraged!!

BCD for Canada

Hello,

Does anyone have a valid BCD for BC, Canada. All of the codes mentioned here don't seem to work -- rate is the same with or w/o the BCD.

Budget is one of the few to have a station in Port Hardy on Vancouver island...

Many thanks

jan

Used the code this for a one week rental in Denver, it saved me $150 in a compact rental--price went from $317 to 159,

Thanks,

PS -- does anyone know what BCD # X739200 code stands for?

Hello,
Going to Greece this week and I have a reservation with Budget already. I tried the Costco BCD and it lowered my rate by 40E. Does anyone know if they will check for a Costco card when I pick up the car?

thanks!

Just got back from Maui and I scored with that code. Struck up a nice convo with the agent (I have the gift of gab if you will) and she never mentioned a thing about HI only for my code (V222904). Saved me about $100!! ^

Grand Cayman Medium for BCD U004000

Used this for Grand Cayman GCM 8/26-9/2 called the Entertainment Budget #1-888-724-6212. Got a medium car for 1 week for $230. taxes and all. Is this good? could I add a coupon and get more off? I know I said Budget never again, but they have such darn good rates.

Some coupons are not accepted at some locations. Take an upgrade coupon with you, it couldn't hurt. I tried to use a double upgrade coupon when I made an online rez. at Maui and the website it would not be accepted there. :(
