Avis Preferred Plus
Specialty (Camaro SS)
RSW 11/12-23
Any chance they have Mustang GT's (not standard V6) as alternative at RSW?
Full Size (Fusion)
IAH 11/23-26
Any chance of a PP upgrade with the Full Size (Fusion) booking?

Car Type/Class reserved: Premium (Ford Taurus)
Location: SNA
Dates: Sunday 18th December 2016 until 09/01/2017
Have booked and paid for Premium. It is indicated that should get a Ford Taurus. Is this the most likely scenario or are there other Premium class cars available from this location? If so what are they normally?
Secondly, what kind of upgrades are usually available from this location (used Avis LGB in 2014 and got offered upgrade to BMW 328 for only $15 per day so I snapped that up quick smart)
Any help would be very much appreciated
Thanks all

I'd say it's a coin flip between Taurus and Chrysler 300. Maybe a maxima but haven't seen those as much recently. Can't speak to upgrades def BMW's around but can't speak to prices. Generally (not location specific) Avis seems to have taken a large order of MB C300's in the last two weeks.
Thanks for the info ucfjoe. The advice is appreciated
Not that Ive got anything against either the Ford or Maxima, but fingers crossed we get allocated a 300C. And hopefully they have some festive season upgrades on offer.

Was offered a Chrysler 200 at IAH, but exchanged it for a low mileage Mazda 6 with leather.

As a President's Club, I believe I get a double upgrade. I've always booked a FULL size as that's the highest class before the price difference to the next class gets dramatic. Started noticing in the past few days that the STANDARD now supersedes the FULL size in price. Never seen that before. Example: FLL Airport 5/22 - FULL = $35 - STANDARD = $36. I have a corporate discount that I believe is built into these rates.
My question is this. Which of these classes - FULL or STANDARD - is considered higher? The price difference of $1 is immaterial but it is essential to me to choose the higher of the two classes thereby yielding a nicer double upgrade when I drive off the lot.

Avis status : Preferred Plus
Car type/class reserved : Convertible
Location : LAS (return same location)
General timing : Tuesday late evening, for 24h (tonight)
This is already my 4th Avis rental this month. Hoping for a nice upgrade (performance-oriented car) to go explore the nice desert/canyon/mountain roads in Nevada/Arizona.
I could've also put in a reservation for a Full size with an upgrade coupon, at the same rate, but I didn't think it would help.
TIA :-)

Giving Avis a shot since there's a discount included with Sapphire Reserve (unfortunately Visa Infinite doesn't provide a special Avis level, just regular Preferred).

A Luxury vehicle is available for about $12 per day more ($60 total), listed as Lincoln MKZ.

This time of year in main FL airports is usually pretty good. I've seen Xc60, xc90, x5, ML, escalade (but may be different class) at TPA in the last 45 days. My pick if you can make it is the XC90 as every one I've seen at Avis is a close to fully loaded T6 AWD.
