I did get a hard pull on Transunion .. equifax too i believe. I know many of the reports are saying that they won't even let second applications go through to submission now- i wish that had been the case back when I applied for the second time

It is interesting how there are no successful DPs on churning this card. My guess is that nobody has had success in obtaining a 2nd card yet.
We do know a couple things about churning:
1) Only allowed 1 Lifemiles card open at the same time
2) There exists an undetermined wait period before applying again for this card

no retention offer for me. I had the card for less than a year, made sure to cancel before the due date. I mentioned the annual fee and they cancelled the card. Pretty painless. I have the other card on my list to apply for this year so I will report back on that experience and whether I’m able to pick it up or not.

Application link is glitchy. I tried in two different browsers (Chrome and IE) and got the same long-winded error message. Pretty annoying. Did anyone have recent success applying using these browsers?

I signed up this morning here. https://www.myonlinecreditcard.com. Just hit the link that says “Need to enroll your account? Set up your account now” and key the card number and last 4 of your ssn.

I called to try some retention offer......CSR said I have to cancel the card to get the $149 annual fee back within 60 days of posting. if I want to leave the card open, have to pay the $149.

Had to call in to set up the online account. Seems to work now. So, to get the bonus miles all we need to do is make a single purchase with this card and pay the annual fee?
Anyone? Also - how long did it take for the miles to post? (I am planning some travel and these miles would have been very useful)

I applied for the version with the lower AF. I was automatically declined even though I have a nigh salary and a high credit score. I called them in and added my husband's income and then I was approved a few days later.
