For the record, I have never bought any Lifemiles, but merely opened a shell account some time ago.

Is it true they still block all LH and SQ premium award booking?

Yes, on longhaul flights at least... LH and SQ C (to EU) are sometimes available, F-cl not.

Either they block or are blocked by the other carriers...

Without the ability to book LH F, which is where fuel surcharges really hurt redemption value, then Lifemiles can declare themselves bankrupt. Most of the *A awards involve some segments on LH in one way or the other and given that LH C is horrendous, not being able to do LH F is a death sentence.

This deal is not worth the money.

That's bu...s....

There are still enough routes avaiable whre you can fly on an excellent product to an exceptional good price.

So if you want to buy one of this tickets now you should buy the miles.

So can you please enlighten us what exceptional routes and products you are referring to?

ANA, Asiana, Thai first class. *A business awards with no surcharges. What is your alternative?

If you don't like the program, move on.

SQ C is available on FRA-JFK, LAX-NRT & CPH-SIN-MUC in fairly good availability. But no more A380 space to Europe.

I can't find any FRA-JFK in May and June 2015 in Business Class.

I can only find JFK-FRA on 19 May. Nothing else in May and June 2015 in J.

JFK-FRA is very spotty I agree, usually at T-3 it starts to appear, not sure about FRA-JFK, the bottom line though is that there's far less SQ awards to play around with than in the past...

Indeed, all three are excellent.

There are people flying F between continents not both named "North America" and "Europe"...

Which one? ANA flies NRT-JFK, OZ flies F suites ICN-JFK on 777-200ER and will start flying A380 to JFK next month. TG doesn't fly at all though with F to USA, just a 777 with mediocre angled flats in J to LAX.
