SFO-ZRH-MAA : need help!

I could use some help here. I am trying to piece together a US to India itinerary leaving 12/21

Following flights are available according to KVS as well as piecing them together individually:

12/21 : SFO-ZRH

12/23 : ZRH-FRA-MAA

All sectors are available in business class and the layover in zrh is 15 hours.

LM.com prices this as 2 seperate tickets LM agents can't seem to piece this together as through itinerary. Can anyone advise how I can make this work?

12 hours seems to be the magic connection number for LifeMiles.

You could try adding another connection onto the itin to reduce connecting time.

Would one call this in? Off course you can't ticket this online? But when you call it in then they will have to make such a long itin into a return? No?

Tried calling to add the extra sector..no luck! Utterly incompetent agents! They want to price each sector on it's own

Yes that is what they do. They simply use the same online website we use.

I have tried both. Just as bad as each other IMHO. If you want LM to work for you then only option is what it gives you online. Like someone mentioned earlier you get what you pay for.

I had success on the phone when the first promo was on, have posted about it a while ago. Got overnight connection and a connection of greater than 12 hrs all good on the one ticket.

By the sounds of it now I got very lucky!

You wish.
I think we should have a sticky of what is possible and what people have actually been able to do.

Hi all,

Can someone with experience on avianca award booking, tell me, how long it takes between booking process and getting a ticket ? I know that with miles&more it's a question of seconds, what about lifemiles?
