I thought it wasn't due to start until August 26. I guess they got everything ready early so switched it. Too bad for me it wasn't ready last week on the original target date, being I got the 747 in F last week on my ICN-LAX flight, as well as return.

I booked LAX-ICN in F for this Saturday, 8/23, back in November ahead of the MileagePlus devaluation for partner awards. Hope nothing breaks and the A380 stays on schedule! Can I possibly be the first FT'er for this flight?

Yup, inaugural was on the 20th. Ended up in F on it by accident. Small party at the gate, some film crews. Nice flight.

I flew it yesterday ex-LAX in F. Excellent service as one would expect. The flight attendants also admitted that this was their first trip on the whale. Photo album is linked below if you are interested.
