If you fly SFO-MIA-EZE the SFO-MIA segment will be on AA. Also, review the MIA-EZE segment carefully, as AA has two flights a day between MIA and EZE and it's possible that Lan puts its code on both of them.

True, I keep forgetting about that (rather crucial) detail. I suppose it's 95%Air Canada and 5% Mexicana, unless I find out that Mexicana is not too bad since it's slightly less duration time than AC.

Since you have to connect anyway why not take LAN from LAX and connect to EZE in either SCL or LIM. Seems to be a bit more direct than either flying via Canada or MIA.

Same reason as in the previous pages--I'm trying to avoid US airlines or US-based carriers. This effectively leaves Air Canada route SFO-YYZ-EZE, and Mexicana route SFO-MEX-EZE. I've flown Air Canada a few times and had good experiences, but I have never flown Mexicana and I know almost nothing about them.

Seems to me you're cutting off your nose to spite your face for some inexplicable reason.

Given that these are all redeye flights, I'm not sure why the OP won't consider a US airline. A UA 767-300 will come with terrible food and service but will likely provide the best night's sleep, followed by an AA 777 from DFW, JFK or MIA. Indeed, the JFK and DFW flights come in at about 10 hours or so, which is just about the perfect amount of time to have some dinner and get 7-8 hours of sleep.

The crucial detail I forgot was that LAN doesn't fly just purely LAN airlines SFO-MIA-(SCL)-EZE.

Since SFO-LAX and SFO-MIA seem out of the question, you could also fly SFO-CDG-EZE on AF, perhaps SFO-SYD-EZE on QF, or even SFO-ICN-LAX-GRU on KE and then catch a quick flight from Sampa on various other airlines...

What's the point in quoting HIDDY if you're not gonna answer his question?

Politicians travel on other peoples money so that would seem to rule out our Chess Doode from being in that line of business.... after all, he is not asking about the Presidential Suite at the Four Seasons or the Faena...

Other options to consider might include TACA: SFO-SAL-LIM-EZE, Aeromexico, also SFO-MEX-EZE (they have only started SFO-MEX recently, and their new lounge on the new terminal in MEX is fantastic!), or, just for fun, LH: SFO-FRA-EZE (where you get to fly LH's longest non-stop flight!), NZ: SFO-AKL and AR or LA AKL-EZE, KL: SFO-AMS-EZE, etc., etc.

I always thought there was an acento in ajedrecista... but I do know for sure Británico has one. Anyway thanks for all the advice, I will be in Bs. As. (and some of Gran Bs. As.) around July/Aug 2010.
