There is an interesting article in WiWo in German ... mentioning Miguel Angel Broda, a famous economist.

http://www.wiwo.de/politik-weltwirts...e-land-413908/

For those who can read German it's very interesting .. for those who don't understand German: it's an article with a very sad outlook for Argentina.

Indeed, the outlook is not promising... at least until the K regime is in power. Having said this, these remaining 2 years pose some very interesting opportunities.... there is always opportunity in the middle of a crisis...

BTW, I have read recently an article about Argentina ... an economist predicted, that Argentina will run in 2011 in the same "2001 disaster". Who knows .. my professor always mentioned: "predictions/prognoses are difficult, because they are in the future!"
Anyway, the mentioned article in WiWo is describing what already happened!

OK, maybe the rich can profit in a crisis .... the poor will suffer! BTW, some of the opportunities are addressed in this WiWo article.
It's a shame that a "socialistic government" is steering this country (and the poor people) in a crisis.

May be this is true:

Question: "What happens when the Sahara Desert gets SOCIALISTIC?"
Answer: "In the first years nothing .... after two years the sand gets scarce!"

Hey thanks, that's the best online translator I've used. ^

I wouldn't take the article too seriously - after all, most of the western world hasn't exactly been performing economically well recently. Time will tell....

Im very sorry mi querido amigo... but a bottle of that 'cognac' barely buys you a few tenths of a second of Guru Gaucho´s time....

Does you "socialistic government" in quotes mean "corrupt and gross mismanagement" (and other expletives) or "socialistic" in the more conventional sense.

The reason I used quotes ... I just was not sure, if the Kirchner's party is a socialistic party .... I think it is ... the party roots are from Peronists?!?

Actually.... you are both correct.

This is because the K regime has a very toxic mix of Socialism with other peoples money blended with a high degree of corruption for personal benefit and kronie-capitalism... with an added dose of gross mismanagement and incompetence of that which is public.

If you only read the headlines these bozos make, then you would quickly conclude they are socialist... but when you dig into the details, you see that they fund welfare with other peoples money while they grossly line their pockets with $$$$$ from shabby dealings, nepotism, kronie capitalism and outright kickbacks from many of the largest business deals in the Argentine economy over the past 10-12 years. It all began when Nestor went into politics... it didnt start when he got to be President by accident.

Is that why he always has one eye looking behind his back?
