    • Google Fi - posted as streaming for some (plat - "GOOGLE *GOOGLE FI G.CO/HELPPAY# CA", pay.google.com, additional information shows "GAMES"); no credit on green (additional information shows "Axxxxxxx SELLER"). Not clear if this was a temporary miscoding since it posted as Wireless for several after May 22. UPDATE: GOOGLE FI still sometimes posts as streaming credit. Worked for me on September 14th 2020. Had already used the $20 wireless credit and paid another $20 go Google FI and it was refunded as streaming credit. My experience is that it works 50% of the time.

It's a MONTHLY credit of $20. If you find a streaming/cell plan that only costs that but gives you a full YEAR of service, then please post it here so I can take advantage as well.

So who are those providers for the Platinum card?
I mean the url doesn't tell me anything, or I can't see it.

https://www.americanexpress.com/us/rewards-info.html

Edit:
Apparently, it's here.

Nice bonus imho.
Agreed, although I wonder why it (and the similar Bonvoy Brilliant $300 credit) start in June and not May.

Doesn’t list Google Fi , but says “This is not a complete list.”
I've never had Google Fi count for AMEX Sync offers for wireless service providers, so my guess is it won't count here either I just looked at my most recent Fi payment and the label at the top is "Business Services - Internet Services"

Any idea if this applies to authorized users? I'm assuming the credit (like Uber credit) is only for the primary user.

This is answered in the FAQ which was already linked above (slightly amusing to note the name of the file: Master-Value-Injection-TCs-FAQs.pdf):

https://about.americanexpress.com/si...n-TCs-FAQs.pdf

My eligible charges are billed to an Additional Card on my account. Will I receive the statement credit?

Yes, charges made by both the Basic Card Member and Additional Card Member(s) on the eligible Card Account are eligible for statement credits. However, the total amount of statement credits for each Card Account will not exceed $20 per month on select U.S. streaming subscriptions and $20 per month on wireless telephone services purchased directly from U.S. service providers, and the total will not exceed $40 per month.
It looks like there is a FAQ section for each type of credit, and I didn't bother scrolling through all of them, but the ones I looked at all had similar language. Do a search through the document for "Additional Card" for the particular one(s) you're interested in, if you want to be sure.

I noticed that the Schwab card wasn’t included in the promotional literature around today’s changes. I just called Amex (regular customer service), and apparently the card is NOT getting the streaming and wireless credits. If that is the case, it may be a reason to cancel this card out of pure principle when the fee comes due (it is not really seen as comparable to the other Amex cards). Can anyone else confirm this?

EDIT - This is wrong (see post later in thread)

I called a little while ago. The agent spent some time digging and came back and told me that the Schwab Plat IS getting the streaming and wireless credits. He said he was able to confirm it. I saw this under the FAQ's:

"FAQS
What products are eligible for the statement credit?
All U.S. Consumer Platinum Card Members are eligible to receive these statement credits."

Under the Green Card, it seems to exclude some of the other versions:

"FAQs What Card Members are eligible? The American Express Green Card is eligible for this statement credit. Our statement credit offer was designed based on a thorough evaluation of each of our product’s individual characteristics. Based on that evaluation, the American Express Traditional Green Card and American Express Senior Green Card are not eligible for this offer. You can find your card product name at the top of your statement."

So, I'm hoping that between the conversation and the Schwab plat not specifically being excluded, the card does get the streaming and wireless credits.

Thanks. I followed up by calling the retention line, and they confirmed all consumer platinum accounts (Schwab, Morgan Stanley, etc) do receive the new benefits. Seems like it pays to always call retention when discussing these issues

Can this be stacked with cash back offers from AMEX Offers? Ex. "Spend $100 or more, get $5 back. Up to 4 times (total of $20)."
