Wireless Phone Services (see below for rules)
  • WORKED
    • AT&T Prepaid - post 269
    • Greatcall - autopay, posted as WWW.GREATCALL.COM

    • Google Fi - posted as streaming for some (plat - "GOOGLE *GOOGLE FI G.CO/HELPPAY# CA", pay.google.com, additional information shows "GAMES"); no credit on green (additional information shows "Axxxxxxx SELLER"). Not clear if this was a temporary miscoding since it posted as Wireless for several after May 22. UPDATE: GOOGLE FI still sometimes posts as streaming credit. Worked for me on September 14th 2020. Had already used the $20 wireless credit and paid another $20 go Google FI and it was refunded as streaming credit. My experience is that it works 50% of the time.

This is helpful for me because I had already loaded up my Google Play balance with discounted gift cards to pay for YTTV for the rest of year. Now I don't have to switch the billing to AMEX and pay $33.50 per month out of pocket and bank my Play balance until 2021.
As streaming credit I suppose.

Just to follow up here. Got this manual credited with no issue at 14 days. So for me sounds like this will be an every month issue to get the credit.

Under streaming I suppose? Google Fi has never coded as wireless from the DPs we've seen

Can you share what prompted the iTunes credit? Curious if in-app purchases/subscriptions are still triggering.

May 5 Google Fi charge (via manually triggered payment) has not resulted in a credit.

Spoke with several reps, final answer was that Google Fi doesn't count as they don't operate their own network (they are an MVNO).

On a more positive note, loading Google Play credits seems to trigger the streaming credit automatically. You have to do this from the Google Play store app on an Android phone, there is no button to do this on the web interface.

Thanks.

Of course, we know from other data points in this thread that that is a bogus explanation as other MVNOs have triggered the credit... and Google Fi has triggered streaming credit for some. Amex CSR making up stuff?

I did a test purchase yesterday for $5. Waiting to see if it credits. I don’t really have a lot of use for Play credit, though.

For shipping credits, does anyone knows what else counts online besides stamps on usps.com? A sheet of forever stamps at USPS is $11 + shipping. Looking to fill the difference
