    • Google Fi - posted as streaming for some (plat - "GOOGLE *GOOGLE FI G.CO/HELPPAY# CA", pay.google.com, additional information shows "GAMES"); no credit on green (additional information shows "Axxxxxxx SELLER"). Not clear if this was a temporary miscoding since it posted as Wireless for several after May 22. UPDATE: GOOGLE FI still sometimes posts as streaming credit. Worked for me on September 14th 2020. Had already used the $20 wireless credit and paid another $20 go Google FI and it was refunded as streaming credit. My experience is that it works 50% of the time.

Sort of annoying but maybe the $20 is worth the 5 minute chat every month?
You may get some push back I got denied on getting a credit for Xfinity Mobile, which is bundled Verizon I believe.

Was this an automatic credit or did you have to use chat to request a credit?

It does. Also buying movies and TV shows work. I'm planning to use the credit to buy some movies and TV shows as I get netflix through Tmo.

This is helpful for me because I had already loaded up my Google Play balance with discounted gift cards to pay for YTTV for the rest of year. Now I don't have to switch the billing to AMEX and pay $33.50 per month out of pocket and bank my Play balance until 2021.
great idea, thanks, I have the same situation. Does it work on iPhone or desktop?

Push-back when and how? Text or voice call? They wouldn't manually apply it?

scroll down to "U.S. Wireless Telephone Service Providers" -- although it also notes "*This is not a complete list" (and e.g. I think people have reported that Fi actually counts for the *streaming* credit)

It does not seem to distinguish between pre/postpaid, so...
There have been reports in this thread that specifically AT&T Prepaid and T-Mobile Prepaid trigger the credit.

I wonder how much decreased spending is going to factor into those of us with later in the year retention bonuses. I know my spend has gone down significantly due to lack of travel, etc.

I've always wondered if this is the case. I really only use my Platinum card for travel purchases, and then sometimes at stores. I rarely spend over $1000/month on the card, so I know I am not of too much value to Amex.

No, because I have several planned trips for the end of the year and into 2021 that I figured I would still get the value-added benefits from, but I guess time will tell if I made the right decision.

Not sure if this is the right thread, but I was surprised to see that an Amazon Prime Now charge received 4x bonus spend on my Delta Reserve recently. Amex has generally improved its grocery recognition in recent months - bodegas and other smaller grocery shops in NYC used to not count as grocery, now they do on all of my Amex cards. Chase still has a better grocery category (Chase includes stores like butchers, farmers markets, cheese shops and other specialty food stores as grocery while Amex still doesn’t from what I can tell),

It works only in the Google Play app, not desktop version. I don't know if the Google Play app can be used outside of the Android ecosystem.

$20 credit posted for Xfinity Mobile, 2 days after the charge. I assume automatically.

Has anyone tried adding Apple/iTunes credit to see if that works?
Considering AppleCare, iBook, andGoogle Play credits all works, I feel like adding an Apple/iTunes credit should work too.

ITunes credit does work. We purchased a movie not trying to get the credit recently via iTunes Store and it took the credit on our account.
