Qualifying Small Business

Purchases
Purchases may fall outside of the offer period in some cases (and therefore not qualify for the offer), such as a delay in merchants submitting transactions to us or if the purchase date differs from the date you made the purchase. (For example, if you buy goods online, the purchase date may be the date the goods are shipped) Additional Card Members on your account are not eligible to enroll in this offer, but you earn 2X Rewards for qualifying purchases made by any Additional Card Members on your account. Fulfillment

If I shop at a small business, I will get 2 Starpoints per dollar instead of 1 or 2 Skymiles with my Delta card instead of 1. However, as Mia points out I would receive 3MR points using the PRG at gas stations, groceries, and restaurants. I thought it would only be two MR points until Mia explained the rule.

This is really confusing - i generally trust mia on all things, so will lean that way - to clarify: i.e. PRG - going to a shop small elligible coded grocey store, I would be getting 3x MR (2x category bonus and 1x on the actual spend)? and the terms are basically saying its not going to be 4x (2 x 2)?

Also take note of:
So gas stations are one of the higher-point categories on my card, but nothing additional will be earned from this promotion, although gas stations show on the map.
Purchases with political campaigns or political action committees as well as purchases at gas or service stations do not qualify, regardless of whether they appear on the Shop Small Map.

Wow. This IS disappointing. It would have been one of the easiest ways to get an extra MR HH or Star point per $. At least I have shop small grocers and restaurants close.

Per Pallhedge & Mia above, I have started receiving daily posts of 3 bonus pp$ to my HHonors account on my spend at "Small Businesses 
." The normal 3 or 5 pp$ will appear monthly as usual.
