Is it still possible to log in using the username and password? I'd greatly appreciate any feedback or data points. Thanks.
Out of curiosity, what's the importance of this? You've undoubtedly spent more time here than it would have taken to simply create a new PP log-in. Are you trying to keep your visit history or something?

Priority Pass just added the Club lounge at the Sofitel LHR! That's a first I think. It's a decent club too. ^

Decent club indeed. Outside security of course. I see more and more in hotel clubs being added for some club programs. Well see how it all rolls out.

Yeah, but if you have enough time, the HEX is free between T5 and the other terminals. I suppose this is especially nice for people who actually stay at the Sofitel and don't have an Accor Platinum card, yet do have PP. This gives them free club at the hotel.

Personally if I'm flying out of T5, as a BA GCH I'll just go to the First lounge anyways. And I have Accor Plat. So I probably would never use this benefit. But I can see how others would.

Not a whine exactly, just some thoughts about value of the Priority Pass benefit of my Amex Platinum card after a few recent trips. YMMV especially if you are based or fly through different cities. Out and back from New Orleans to Detroit for work this week over two days, I was reminded how hard it can be sometimes to find or get value from a PP club.

Of course my home airport, MSY, has only one club, Delta's, and I was flying United this time, so no dice there. First layover at ORD, I was reminded by the PP app that the two lounges there, Swissport and Air France, are for international flights only.

Arriving at Detroit I knew I was again in a Delta-centric airport, and so no lounge visit there or before my first return flight the next day. This time through Dulles, so yay!, I thought, and my arrival gate was fairly close to the AF/KLM lounge in A. But the nice person at the desk sadly noted they don't accept PP from 4 to 6 p.m., and it was 4:10 at the time. And fortunately the app told me that the BA lounge closes at 14:00 anyway.

Again, I'm not really annoyed, just reminded that for some of us, the PP benefit is fleeting. Glad to say that I had a terrific time at the Escape lounge at MSP a few weeks ago via PP, and that will be a frequent routing for me.

My experience is similar.

I fly Delta and I'm based at RDU, which has a nice Skyclub. Connections are at the expected places, with Skyclubs available.

But, one of my frequent destinations is SJC, where they have a The Club. It's OK, and the employees are courteous and professional, but the snacks/food can be lacking.

I also go through SEA a few times a year, either as a destination or connecting to Asia, and found the The Club there crowded and the food marginal.

True but I did love the great, make that GREAT Amex Centurion lounger there at Dallas that made me realize why I got the Platinum card for real. So good I now look for routings through DFW with longish layovers, even with my sparse travel schedule.

I find the PP benefit in the US almost worthless. There are very few times the airport doesn't have a better lounge I also have access too (though SJC is a notable exception). However, its benefit outside the US is almost limitless. There are almost no European airports without PP lounges (minus OTP) and it's also great in Asia and even the Caribbean.

True, but there are exceptions to that rule. Thanks to PP I've used the BA lounge at IAD many times while flying DL out of IAD as DL doesn't have a club there.

DAL, as in Dallas Love Field, doesn't have ANY lounges. Not a PP issue that there are no lounges for them to contract with. As much as I dislike a lounge free airport, I don't mind DAL if I'm just in town for a workday as it's so close to downtown. Too bad Southwest is the primary carrier but that's a comment for another thread...

Oh there are indeed exceptions and IAD is a good one, there just aren't very many of them...unless you're a "The Club at x" kind of person.

Different Priority Pass membership packages have different rules. The one that comes with the Amex Platinum gets the card holder in for free, and then each additional person is $27 each, at all lounges.
