Lounge dragons are generally good about recognizing someone who was there earlier that day, especially if you are "re-entering" on a different card within a short period of time.

In CPH, I was also told they ALWAYS have to swipe the physical card, despite their readers have the contactless symbol on it. It does not work for registering, it only works for contactless charging as a regular financial transaction. How unfortunate - I'd like to show the card on my phone instead of carrying the card in my wallet.
I have the Platinum card on my phone (Apple Pay), the Priority Pass app, and a physical companion/white plastic platinum card (I'm an additional cardholder on my own account - who knew?).
Am I going to run into any trouble accessing the lounges - in particular, outside the USA?
Amex says no problem, but I have my doubts. What's been your experience?

I have a similar question. I don't want to carry the metal Platinum card around.

Have the Platinum card and will have a guest with me when using the Centurion Lounge next week. I know it's $50 per guest, but can I use any other credit card for that guest payment or does it have to be my AMEX card?
EDIT: Never mind. The AMEX Centurion Lounge Access page makes it explicitly clear, "A physical American Express card must be used as the payment method for all paid guest access."

Authorized User Priority Pass Question
If I add my wife to my account as an authorized user ($195), she will be able to get her own Priority Pass account, correct?
That means when travelling together, each of us can take 2 guests i.e. a total of 6 of us can use lounges like Plaza Premium?

In which country is your American Express card issued? Did you ask about a membership for an additional cardholder, or about bringing guests into a lounge?

It's in the T&C: https://www.americanexpress.com/us/c...-0#offer-terms
"Priority Pass™ Select

although...
... granted, Bartolo's profile location does say Canada

She will be able to request a Priority Pass membership which will be entirely separate from yours. She will be able to bring guests to lounges, but the number of guests is set by the lounge. American Express will pay for two guests, but the lounge is not required to admit two.

Canada. I was asking about membership.
