(Check the Priority Pass website, as AF in the past has been less restrictive in the off-season). AF will sometimes admit Delta Sky Club members during their restricted time if they have space.

Hong Kong Lounge Access
Hi all, this is my first international trip, I have the Personal American Express Platinum card. I've never went to a lounge at any airport. I'm going to be traveling via American Airlines from Dallas to Bangkok. with a 5 hour layover in Hong Kong. In Hong Kong we are switching planes to Royal Jordanian. This trip was done using AA points. Which lounge would you recommend me and my wife go to at each airport? I understand I can go to the Centurion Lounge or "priority pass" lounges.
Thanks for the tips in advance!

Download the LoungeBuddy app - if you put in your trip details and access credentials (credit cards and elite status that you hold) then it will tell you which lounges you can access along your trip, along with reviews and photos.

At most lounges you do not need the physical card. You can use the Priority Pass smartphone application with your account credentials.

...and call American Express customer service, explain the timeframe, and see if they can help you get the necessary information.

If you call Priority Pass and explain that you have a trip coming up, they can give you your Account # over the phone. With that you can create your account on the app. Not every lounge accepts the digital membership card (inside the app), but it's worth a shot. They did this for me when I first signed up (I had a trip in < 14 days).

Is the Centurion Lounge open?
I haven't been there because the Cathay first class lounges are amazing (I'm an AA EXP and have access)
Having been to the Plaza arrival's lounge, it's pretty blah. Not remotely comparable to a Centurion Lounge. Maybe the ones inside security are.

Question on # of immediate family member as guests (Priority Pass )
From the Alaska Airline lounge in LAX, I found:
All Cardholders and guests are required to show a Boarding Pass with confirmed same-day travel for access to the lounge - Limited to two guests per Cardholder or immediate family
Does this mean two people max? Or can I bring all my immediate family (wife + 2 children over 2 years old) without a fee?
Thank you.

There are two policies to consider. The lounge operator (Alaska Airlines) determines how many guests to admit. The membership sponsor (American Express) decides how much to charge. If your children are very young the lounge may not report their visit, but if reported American Express will charge for $27 each guest over two.
