If I cancelled my Premier Rewards Gold card on 9/18/2013, what day can I apply for the Platinum card and avoid the 90 day rule so I get the bonus?

12/17, 12/18, or 12/19 ?

Used and received $200 refund for UA giftcard, booked tickets to Book of Mormon, used it for great hotel deals in Bangkok by FHR and happy not to see any Foreign Transaction Fees.

I like!
This week received the 100k points. Still like!

What happens if you don't apply after you get the first offer? How long until they send out another one? I got an offer for business plat in late September, right after I got the business PRG. Sadly, I think it was only 50K after 5K spend.

FWIW in the 100k plat biz mailer there were no exclusion criteria and I had opened a personal gold for 75k one month prior and got all 175k points.

"I am planning to do some consulting work" worked for me back before I had a formal biz. That could be true for almost anybody....

Does that no AF platinum offer work for anyone, or do they ask for account info?

A telephone call is no substitute for reading the terms of the specific offer. This offer still says:

Welcome bonus offer not available to applicants who have had this product within the last 12 months or any Consumer ZYNC®, Green or Gold Card account within the last 90 days.

I saw a platinum card offer when logging onto my online account 50K MR for $5K 3 month spend...worse deal ever compared to what's being offered in this thread Why can't I receive 100K offer? With the recent lounge withdrawals it's the only offer worth jumping on

Just got a mail offer from Amex business gold reward card for 75k points with $2k spending within 3 months. First year annual fee is waived.

What is the value of the 75k points? Can it be redeemed as statement credit and how much?

Thanks

This is generally not a good use of points, but start reading here:

https://rewards.americanexpress.com/...REducationPage

As an example, the system proposed that I redeem 12,500 points to offset a $75.00 charge. That values the points at $0.006 each. By comparison, if transferred to airline frequent flyer program and redeemed for premium cabin flights the points are easilt worth $0.02 each or more.
