This is major. Gets pretty darn close to the BA 100,000 mile offer because not only is first year fee waived, there's also $100 statement credit. Also, Delta will only charge around $100 for fees, etc., when booking a coach award ticket. Wow, what a deal!
Maybe it'll go mainstream. Here I took the bait for the 50K Delta AmEx offer. Uggh, I think I'm going to get sick. Oh well.

I got the 70K offer on my second shot of trying a random trip cheap- IAH to ATL worked. On the first page I got the 30K offer and on the Step 2 page I got the 70K offer.
Poop, here's my dilemma: I got an AMEX AA card about 70 days ago and was waiting to get a much needed AMEX SPG card in about three weeks. How strict is AMEX about a 90 day card policy or getting two AMEX cards in close succession?

In chrome when that app pops up, right click on it and select view iframe source. It should give you the URL.

I agree with amolkold. The $5k spend is a dealbreaker for me, just like on the typical SPG card offer. I do apps for too many other cards (churning the Hilton HHonors Visa from Citi, for example) that have some spend requirement, and even if those are each smaller individually, they add up collectively, so I can't afford to "tie up" all my spend on just one card for months.
I wish I could find an offer for as many as 50k Delta miles for as little as $750 spend. That one seems better for those who apply for other cards routinely and thus can't commit high spend to one card.
(Besides, I don't fly Delta regularly, I'm saving up for the future, so I dunno if the purchase credit would even work for me.)

$5K is a lot to put on a Delta card, if you're not earning MQMs for elite status.
Amex officially says that you cannot currently hold a Delta personal card at that moment, must be at least a year removed from holding that particular card (no Gold Delta card for at least a year), and must be at least 90 days removed from holding any Delta consumer credit card (Plat or Reserve).
