What is the largest amount reimbursed on this for a ticket purchase now?

2/9 Changed from DL to HA
2/9 $59 island hopper
2/10 $55 upgrade

Nothing has moved and no credits yet. Stayed pending for two days.

How long should I wait before being concerned about reimbursement?
Is there anyone using HA for AMEX reimbursement these days?

American Express' system sometimes mistakes small charges for fees, but by rule neither tickets nor upgrades are eligible for reimbursement. No point calling before 14 days.

Yes. You should not be concerned.

Seems odd that it did not happen right away. I guess I have to wait the full 14 days and sweat it out.

What exactly did you purchase? Economy comfort or F? Former gets reimbursed.

Any recent experiences? Last time I tried, anything over $50 had to be manually requested. I do wonder how far I can push the envelope on that...

Booked $39 i/i one ways and $10 seat upgrades .. each ticket and seat upgrade posted separately and they were all reimbursed.

Charges posted 12/31. Credits posted 1/3. Which calendar year credits were used? No meter movement yet. I'll check again tomorrow. If I'm lucky they used 2020 credits.

I waited a few days (now 1/7) and the $200 ticker hasn't changed for 2021. I'm pretty sure they used the 2020 credits.

Will buying HA miles trigger the airline credit?

So buying HA miles uses up amex credit? Or is it a set limit you can get to use up the credit?
