Reminder: you must enroll and select AS as your airline BEFORE making a reimbursable purchase. Click HERE to enroll.
As of June 2017 gift certificates are no longer reimbursed. Link to buy gift certicates

According to this thread in the Alaska forum the reimbursement of Alaska Club memberships is no longer a problem. To see how much of your annual credit you've used, log in to AmEx, select the card in question, choose "Membership->Benefits" off the menu bar, scroll down to see the travel credit benefit. (with thanks to Lumpylump76)

Tickets cancelled within 24 hours are refunded back to the card used for the purchase. Tickets for travel dates > 60 days out can be deposited to your wallet when cancelled (this has not been true for some time). Change fees may apply depending on your status. Change fees are waived for MVP Gold and MVP Gold 75k members according to this page: https://www.alaskaair.com/content/mi...ID:MileagePlan (expand "service benefits" towards the bottom of the page). The wallet funds will expire one year after the issue date of the original ticket.

I seem to recall that AS has a 24 hour waiting period?

Yes, there's definitely a 24-hour waiting period before you can use the certificates in any way. So you can't add them to your wallet immediately.

Yeah, I'm having to do the same thing. Wife was not exactly happy the first $200 didn't reimburse.

I'm doing $50 and waiting until it reimburses each time.

I bought a non refundable ticket on Alaska airlines for $350. I need to pay $125 fee in order for the $350 to be credited to "my wallet". Is this considered as one of the reimbursement from Amex? Also, can my boyfriend with this perk use AMEX plat card to pay for this and be reimbursed?

Another fail for $200

I did $200 on 1/4 with no refund... back to smaller GC I guess..

And the PIN has gone missing and 2 phone calls have failed to get it resent... and there is no web/email support... at least their hold system will do a callback.

Data Point:

1/17 - $100 on Plat and $100 on PRG BOTH credited 1/19

With the cards I have, I have made 7 x $100 gift certificate purchases and all have credited back to me.
