Likely as a way to gently encourage business travelers to get back in the air and stay with AA. 18 months ago was around the omicron variant's rise.

While I'd be psyched if it came back annually, I'd very surprised.

That was when demand was super low. With leisure demand SKY HIGH now and them trying to make business extra more revenue positive, not sure why they would offer it. It would seem the opposite of recent changes to the program. They needed it then to encourage more cash paying customers to buy and they had lots of empty seats then compared to now. I would be thrilled and happy, but doubt its gonna happen. I'd much more expect a points increase to happen more than a discount. Those awards have remained almost too good a deal tbh

I've noticed, today, that not all of my flights have been posting to Business Extra. I should be better about checking, redeeming, etc - but I wasn't flying AA much for a few years. So last year, it looks like maybe 30% of my flights posted a credit to BE. This year seems to be the same so far. Is there some reason that would happen? My BE number is attached to my profile.

Do I need to call and have them run through all my transactions/flights over the phone? I don't particularly want to audit every flight I've taken this last year+ and submit individual requests for each missing one.

I have noted when changes are made to my reservations, often my BE number is dropped from the reservation and it is not automatically credited.

Gotcha. Aside from maybe making seat changes in the app, I don't think I've made any reservation changes via phone or changed any flight numbers / times recently. I guess I'll have to call in. I'll be sure to keep an eye on that in the future though.

I find that my BA flights hardly ever post and if they are mixed with AA flights that do credit, then AA refuses credit for the AA segments.

AA Business Extra question
 
Hi,
I just enrolled for an AA Business Extra account, but can I earn miles with Qatar Privilege Club?
(I booked my flight earlier via AA.com, I inputed my QR FF number & AA Business Extra number right underneath)
Do you think it should be ok?

Spoke with BX who said BA is having issues with the BX/On business postings on both the AA and BA side.

Same - I haven't had a BA flight auto-post in years. Have always have to retro-claim credit for BA flights.

Do you get the retro credit - mine just show up as "Coupon already exists and was previously processed"
